Top Paint Scorers From Indy Hoop Fest

In the interior, she was hitting opposing players with jab steps and fancy footwork to generate good open looks. With this, she displayed good touch around the basket at the event.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brandimore, this season's great interior play has been seen outside of the Hoop Fest as well. Out of all these buckets, 22 of them came from inside the arc, and eight of them came at the free-throw line. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Sharpton has no issue playing through contact, which makes her a great inside scorer, and at the guard position, she is also a good offensive rebounder, which leads to some quick put-back layup opportunities. With her size and strength, she was able to get to good scoring spots routinely. Chapman is a strong and physical player. This allows her to get to ideal scoring positions in the paint. This was seen against Grace Christian Academy, where she had a few made buckets down low.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In the third quarter, she had a good sequence that also showed off her defensive promise. She had a big block followed by a short hook shot on the other end. For her size, she moves extremely well, and she is also capable of handling the ball if needed. Against Dickson County, she also had several buckets in the paint and boards that equated to a stat line of 13 points and nine rebounds.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>McHenry also takes pride in her screen setting.
