You can call this one the impact player and a top performer! Sharpton is the do-it-all kid. In my opinion, she is every coach’s dream player. She gives up her body at any time on both sides of the ball. She dives for every loose ball. She will play lock down defense and hound her opponents. Lizzy works incredibly hard on the court! She is one of the best rebounding guards that you will find. I love her energy, her effort, and her commitment! There is so much to love about Lizzy’s overall game!

The only guard on this list, Lizzy Sharpton Lizzy Sharpton 5'8" | SG/PG State TN was a big scorer inside the painted area in the two games she played at the Hoop Fest.

In two games against Franklin High School and CPA, Sharpton had a combined 33 points. Out of all these buckets, 22 of them came from inside the arc, and eight of them came at the free-throw line.

Sharpton has no issue playing through contact, which makes her a great inside scorer, and at the guard position, she is also a good offensive rebounder, which leads to some quick put-back layup opportunities. Through the two games at the Hoop Fest, she had a combined four offensive rebounds.

Sharpton has a big chance to climb the TN ranks in her sophomore season. As a freshman at Tullahoma High School, she started on varsity. Her knack for getting rebounds, steals, and willingness to dive for a loose ball made her impossible to keep off the court. Offensively she showcased some things too, and can make an even bigger impact in that department this year.

Sharpton has a great touch on her jumper. Throughout the season, she became more and more comfortable at knocking down threes, and at a good clip, also. At the start of the season, she proved that she could drive through contact towards the basket and be successful, and this skill she had only gotten stronger as the season went on.

The Lady Cats of Tullahoma are getting a solid contributor who is going to give it all she has. Has a nice shooting stroke from the arc. High basketball IQ. Plays each and every possession like it’s her last on both sides of the ball. The kid showed toughness and tenacity as she went up against stiff competition. She held her own and contributed in multiple categories. She’s fearless and wasn’t afraid to get down and battle with upperclassmen. Once she gets her footing in the high school ranks, she’s going to be a solid piece for the Tullahoma ball club.
