Their will to succeed and how they go about establishing their presence on the court. They are gonna give you everything they have and then some. From putting up points and bunches to locking you up on the defensive end, these girls are going to put in the work to capture the W.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Around these parts, they have the work ethic that complements the coaching styles. It's like there's something inside them that fuels their determination. It doesn't matter what team; that ball club is gonna give you everything they have. If you look at the classes throughout high school, you will find an Upper Cumberland young lady high up on the rankings. These girls just compete and leave it all on the floor. That's why you always see them in the state tournament. They are fierce competitors built differently than most. This kid really gets the job done. She's the glue girl who holds down the interior. From putting up points (eclipsed 1,000 points early this season) to getting rebounds, steals, and taking charges, this kid has a solid game on both ends of the floor. She is tough, gritty, and fights for every inch on the floor. She's one of the team's leaders, and her teammates feed off her energy. When she is on, she is hard to tame. She is a three-point marksman, but also can put the ball on the floor. Yes, she can put points on the board, but she, too, is a solid defender who can create chaos. An unsigned senior, but will soon be landing on a collegiate roster. She is great in the interior, where she can knock down the mid-range and score around the blocks. She will even stretch the floor, given the opportunity. Any free look is a no-go as she can put it in the basketball. She's a fearless competitor on the defensive end, where she blocks shots, gets deflections, and owns the boards. She leads by example, and her team feeds off the production she creates. She can be feisty as she wants to win at everything. Possession by possession, this girl will do whatever she can to make sure her team is on top. Love her tenacity and the fight she brings nightly. Plays with a chip on her shoulder, she is going to go hard every single moment she is on the court. A solid two-way player, she can score the basketball on all three levels, displaying a nice set of handles along the way. I also like her ability to lock up on D, causing the opponent fits as they try to score the ball. She is a versatile player who plays with both speed and power. A 3-level scoring threat, she can finish around the rim or knock down the three ball at a high clip.
