Do it all guard for the Lady Indians. Knocked down threes when left open, while also being the primary creator. Made some great transition pitch aheads and overall feeds. Good athlete on defense, pressuring full court and causing other havoc via steals. With her tenacity and athleticism as the head of the snake, expect those steals numbers to be high this year.

Athletic guard with a strong frame. Freeman helped Roland to a fast start. Good first step to get downhill on drives. Used a nifty ballfake on one drive to make a defender jump and then she smoothly finish at the rim. A smart battler on the defense, often lurking around the backline of the defense for steals and deflection. Can set up defenders with backdoor cuts and other smart off the ball movements.

All action freshman guard. Played well off her senior star teammate. Moved to open spots off the ball for easy scores. But also can rip from the wing with a good first step and get into the 6-10 foot range to hit runners. Her decision making was very freshman. There were good moments. At one point she broke the press, leading to a 3-2 break that she read perfectly and assisted a teammate. But there were also teachable moments mistakes down the stretch with her decisions. Still, loved the energy and scoring punch she provided in her first varsity action in a big time match up.

First caught the eye for hustling for a putback in transition. The energetic play continued with more racing for transition scores. And hit a nice reverse layup in the halfcourt. Was quieter as a scorer for a while. Then she hit a big three in the second half that broke a tied game. She recorded a big steal right after. Abdullah is a good sign of the depth that Westmoore has. Which should help them challenge in 6A.

Fast and tough freshman guard, who made her mark when on the court. She's quick and feisty on the ball, applying pressure in the backcourt. Had a nice score where she came off a ball screen, saw a mismatch and hit the jets. Another good score off an inbound pass. Can see Lumpkin's influence growing throughout the year for the Lady Broncos.

Curry is a multi-sport standout for the Lady Huskies. On the court she's a stronger hustler, who runs the floor hard and finished very well around the rim. Knows the pockets to be in the halfcourt and has great touch out to about 8 feet. Can get on the glass a bit, get up and defend too. Will be a key part of any push the Lady Huskies make for the Class 2A State Tournament.
