I officially started evaluating for Prep Girls Hoops in August. The senior class was going to be a challenge for me, since I was just getting started and didn't have the luxury of at least a year of watching them. As the season has gone on, I've become more familiar with some of them and their skills.

Here are 5 seniors that's impressed up to this point in the season:

Big Scoring Guard. Lilly Ann jumped on my radar during the Fall League season. However, I didn't get the full scope of her abilities until I watched a couple of Collierville games. Because of her size, the Chattanooga State signee is a versatile player. She can play the position of a scoring guard or a small forward. She can defend both positions as well. She can also go on a scoring streak. I watched her knock down 6 straight threes in a game. She is currently averaging 7.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.4 steals per game.

Lefty High Motor Combo Guard. Kendall is a player that I didn't get to personally see until her team played in a preseason play day. Because she consistently shares highlights, I had an idea of her skills. She can run a team as a point guard and move off the ball as a scorer. She never gets tired and is super active on the defensive end. The senior is currently averaging 20 points, 3 steals and 2 assists per game. She has offers from Lesley University, Bryan College, Rhodes College and Huntingdon College. Her latest highlight can be found here.

Versatile Forward. La'niyah came to my attention when she played with Platform Basketball in the TN JUCO Jamboree. Her post defense stood out in that event. This high energy senior is leading her team in scoring with 12.1 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. She is athletic. She can rebound. She can defend. She can score in transition, in the paint, and outside the paint. She has offers from MS Delta and LeMoyne Owen College.

Athletic Lefty Shooter. My first time watching Kaylin play was this year against Houston. The Dyersburg State signee is a Shooter, Shooter. Her stats doesn't fully display the level of a shooter that she is. She is currently averaging 5.8 points and 2.3 rebounds per game. She can knock down 3s from the corner and hit the mid range shot.

Strong Scoring Guard. I've mentioned before how I was impressed with Curnesha's growth. Her high school team was hit with a series of injuries when I saw them in the MLK tournament back in November. The UT Martin signee has been carrying the team on her shoulders. She has been the vocal leader, a primary ball handler and scorer for the team in the 2 games I was able to watch. As a senior, her game has done exactly what you would want it to do. She has expanded from being an attacking guard to a scoring guard that can knock down long range shots, mid range shots and score at the basket.
