Brooklyn has good size, length, and explosive athleticism, allowing her to impact the game on both ends of the floor. She drives the ball with force and embraces contact inside. She can defend multiple positions, and her leaping ability gives her an edge on the glass. Brooklyn is averaging 15.3 points and 4.2 rebounds per game and recently turned in a 15-point, 12-rebound performance against Shelby County. Her two-way presence will be vital for the Lady Warriors as the season moves along. (Featured Image)

Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1226170' first='Ka'Myiah' last='Clark'] has been a bright spot for Caldwell County as they sit at 5–5 on the season, leading the team in scoring with16.7 points per game. She's aggressive offensively and consistently finds gaps in the defense to attack off the bounce. Clark is a solid perimeter shooter and has done an excellent job getting to the free-throw line, averaging nearly six attempts per game. She looks poised to remain a major offensive weapon for the Lady Tigers as the season progresses.

I watched Gianna back at the Holiday Showcase and liked what I saw from her. A lead guard who gives the same amount of energy on offense as she does on defense. She plays unselfishly, always looking to make the extra pass and is a good one on one defender with quick hands. Also very fast able to push the ball in transition and blow by defenders off the dribble. Gianna is averaging 4.5 points per game but the impact she makes doesn't always show up on the stat sheet.

Cumberland County sits at 11–3, led by standout guard [player_tooltip player_id='913403' first='Madi' last='Cooksey'], who has been the catalyst behind their success. She's averaging a team-leading 14.4 points and 6.6 rebounds per game while shooting an efficient 48% from the field, 40% from three, and 80% from the line. A strong-framed guard with good size, Cooksey can do damage from the inside out offensively. On the defensive end, she's capable of protecting the paint, guarding on the perimeter, and is a really good rebounder who goes after every missed shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='743658' first='Elaine' last='Purvis'] is back on the floor in her junior season for Montgomery County and has been a meaningful contributor for the 7–3 Lady Indians, averaging 14.4 points per game. She plays with passion and shoots the deep ball with extreme confidence, connecting on nearly 40% of her attempts from three. Elaine turned in her best scoring performance of the season against Bourbon County, finishing with a team-high 19 points.

Miriam is showing promise in her junior season for Valley, averaging 10.6 points and 3 rebounds per game. She's a reliable threat from the outside with her ability to catch and shoot, can make plays for others, and I like the energy she brings to the floor on the defensive side. The Lady Viking are on a 4-game skid but look to get back to winning form as they take on Central tonight.
