Bucc Up: Lady Buccaneers Battled In Tyler TX Legacy Tournament

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Haughton High School Lady Buccaneers recently journeyed to Tyler, Texas, to participate in the Tyler High School Legacy Tournament. The team competed in four games between December 29th and 30th, 2025. In their initial game, the Lady Buccaneers secured a 27-point victory, with a final score of Haughton (57) to West Mesquite (30). Their second game resulted in an 18-point win, as Haughton defeated Tyler (32) with a score of 50. The third game was a closely contested match, with the Lady Buccaneers emerging victorious by 9 points, Haughton (39) to West Mesquite (30). The fourth and final game also proved to be a challenging encounter, yet the Lady Buccaneers prevailed once more, narrowly defeating Humble by 2 points with a final score of Haughton (30) to Humble (28).The Haughton Lady Buccaneers achieved a perfect record, winning all four of their games. The latter two victories were particularly hard-fought, showcasing exceptional teamwork, ball movement, communication, and strong defense. These attributes were instrumental in Coach Bolin's team returning home with four wins, a truly impressive performance and a testament to excellent coaching. Skylar achieved a total of 24 points. In Game 2, Skylar accumulated a total of 21 points. In her third game, she scored a total of 11 points. In Skylar's fourth game in the tournament, she earned a total of 7 points. She concluded the tournament with a total of 63 points. Skylar successfully made 2 three-pointers and shot 9 out of 12 from the free-throw line throughout the tournament. She then scored a total of 9 points in the second game, followed by 11 points in the third game. In the final and fourth game of the tournament, she contributed 9 points, bringing her total for the entire tournament to 35 points. Additionally, Bella was perfect from the free-throw line, making 2 out of 2 attempts.
