[player_tooltip player_id='885181' first='Charleigh' last='Spoonster'] (Clopton): The 5'6" point guard was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament after leading the Hawks to the championship. She is a talented offensive player, but she doesn't always have to score to have a big impact on the game. That is because of her elite passing ability. She knows her teammates are open before they know they are open. She also has smooth handles to dribble through pressure defense. She is also an impressive scoring threat from all three levels. She also impacts the game on the defensive end with her quickness and anticipation.

Morgan Kuntz (Silex): A 5'8" shooting guard who is a high energy player who can score in a variety of ways. She really plays with good pace as she looks to push the tempo every time she has the ball in her hands. She can really accelerate in the open court. She's physically strong and she does a good job of getting downhill on the drive. She can also shoot it from 3-point range and she comes off screens shot ready with a quick release. When there is a loose ball, she is going to make a strong effort to get to it.

Falyn Davidson (Elsberry): A talented shooting guard who earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team. She scored 22 points in the Indians' 51-46 victory over Silex in the fifth-place game. She scored 18 points after halftime as she sparked Elsberry's rally from a 16-point deficit. She can shoot it well from 3-point range with a high-arching shot. She also attacked the close outs well with a nice shot fake and dribble move. She could also operate in the lane and score in traffic. She was also rebounding the ball well and making plays on the defensive end.

Amaris Melvin (Mark Twain): A talented wing player who was one of the best athletes that I watched in the tournament. She rebounds the ball well from the guard position and she will also hustle to chase down offensive and loose balls out of her area. She slashes into the lane well and will hit the open 3-pointer off the catch. She has good defensive instincts where she will make the good rotations which end up in her getting steals and deflections.

Chloe Havican (Winfield): A pass-first point guard who impressed me with her ability to handle the offense and distribute the ball. She was always keeping her head up and looking ahead to find teammates for early offense. She has good quickness and she does a good job of getting two feet in the paint off of dribble penetration. She also has a nice pull up jumper off the dribble from 10 to 15 feet.

Nakyia Griffith (Louisiana): A 5'4" point guard who is one of the best defensive players that I watched during the tournament. When she takes to the floor, she understands her assignment. Her job is to provide constant on-ball defensive pressure and harass opposing ball handlers from one end of the court to the other. She was very disruptive as she had plenty of deflections in the games that I watched her.

Rylen Jensen (Silex): An athletic shooting guard who has very good speed in the open court. When she got going in transition, she was moving faster on the dribble that the players who were trying to chase her without the basketball. She is a good defensive player who was getting deflections and steals on a consistent basis. She also rebounded the ball very well.
