Neely Bacon of Storm Lake St. Mary's is averaging just under 2 Chargers per game so far this season. Charges are an effort and calculation stat. Players that take Charges are always willing to sacrifice their body for the good of the squad, they usually play with a high IQ as they have to know where to be and when, and they usually play with a lot of high energy coming down the floor. Bacon is checking off all of these things so far this season for her team and it's been noteworthy up until this point.

Brengen Lindsey is sitting with the second highest Blocks on the season so far for Central Decatur High School. Lindsey, a 6'0 PF/C, has registered 55 Blocks so far throughout her team's first 10-11 games. As you can tell, other teams have a hard time at getting things to go inside the lane once they beat their initial defender because of Lindsey. If opposing teams don't pay attention, it's going to end in a block party. There is just no other way to put it. We are only half way throughout the Winter season but Lindsey should be proud of what she has accomplished up until this point.

[player_tooltip player_id='595156' first='Lindsey' last='Haken'] has been doing her usual work so far this season and showing up all over the stat sheet in one way or another out on the floor. Haken is currently second in the state in total Steals with just under 80 so far. This is just one number that jumps out to us about Haken's success this Winter. She is also rebounding, defending all around, and playing some noteworthy offense near the bucket as a PF. All in all, Haken is a competitor, that always leaves it all on the floor, no matter what or who is put in front of her at any given moment.

Another prospect that is doing memorable work so far this Winter is Grace Kissell. Kissell competes for Louisa-Muscatine and she is averaging some staggering numbers this season. She is currently leading the state in total Steals with 90. (That is 13 more than the next highest on the list.) Kissell makes it happen with her fast reaction times and her athletic ability as a defender. She knows how to stick in front of her matchups with ease most of the time and she is very calculated as to when she wants to attack the opponent, looking for a steal. There isn't much more to say than that. Louisa-Muscatine will win more games this Winter and a major reason for that will be the play of Kissell.
