Last night was one of the more enjoyable environments I've been a part of at a high school, with the high-profile matchup between my No. 1 team in D1, Wauwatosa East, and my No. 2 team in D1, Arrowhead, in Hartland. Wauwatosa East won the game in overtime, potentially setting the tone for a second matchup between the two teams in Green Bay. However, let's end my month of articles highlighting some players and what they bring to the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='992515' first='Sydney' last='Loerke']

The Deerfield forward has been an anchor on both ends of the court for the Demons, and when she's at her best, she can control every aspect of a game. Loerke is a solid passer as a forward and can reward cutters at any time. She is also a physical interior defender who can deter opposing guards from attacking the basket or block their shots. The sophomore is also a player who can record a double-double whenever she steps on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='888860' first='Nayeli' last='Kilen']

The Milton guard has been a player who can swing high-profile games for the Red Hawks and has done so for the last two seasons. Kilen is a talented two-way guard who can make things happen on both ends of the court and doesn't shy away from anything, no matter who lines up on the opposite side of her. She is one of the most impressive seniors who hasn't announced anything regarding where she may be playing next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='874401' first='Farrah' last='Danforth']

The Neenah forward has been a solid interior presence for a Rockets team that needed a physical presence in the paint. She has been a player who rebounds the ball at a high level and can control the boards on both ends of the court. Danforth's ability to affect the game at her age has been impressive, and I'm eager to see what she can do in her next three seasons of high school basketball at Neenah.

Jordyn Bowe

The Colfax guard plays with loads of confidence on the offensive end of the court and has stepped up in high-profile games for her Vikings group this season. Bowe is a player who can score the ball at all three levels and create her own shots off the dribble. I like her ability to get to her spots and manipulate defenses with the ball in her hands. She is a player who has proven to be someone who can take her Colfax team deep in the postseason if the chips fall their way.
