The Week Seven PGH Wisconsin D1-D5 polls are now posted, and we have some intriguing results from the past week that have shifted my rankings of teams within their divisions. To end the day, I'd like to discuss some players who have impressed me in games I've attended this season, and highlight the skills that they bring to any lineup they're a part of. That said, let's look at some players who've impressed me this season.

The Kettle Moraine Lutheran forward has had a successful sophomore season, helping her Chargers team remain one of the premier programs in Division 3. Mayer is a physical frontcourt player who can use her size to overpower defenders around the basket. She has also knocked down some jumpers from the mid-range area when defenders allow her space. I also saw her play yesterday, where she controlled the second half of the KML game against Pius XI, recording 19 points and seven rebounds in the second half.

[player_tooltip player_id='1275660' first='Tatum' last='Drazkowski']

The Arcadia wing has been a player who has scored the ball at a high level over the past few seasons, and I made the trip to see her play at the high school level for the first time last Monday. Drazkwoski is an excellent athlete who can score the ball from all three levels and uses her speed to blow by defenders off the dribble. Her motor stood out to me on both ends of the court. She is a multi-sport athlete who may play volleyball at the next level. However, I could see multiple WIAC schools having interest in her this summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='842257' first='Sheamarie' last='Ashley']

Ashley has been a prominent figure in Beaver Dam's rotation since her first season of high school basketball. The senior has improved her game since I first saw her play four years ago. She is a solid athlete at the point of attack and has taken better care of the ball each season she's returned to the Golden Beavers' program. I was impressed by the impact she made on her team's game against Waunakee last week.

[player_tooltip player_id='992482' first='Allie' last='Neuenfeldt']

The De Pere wing is an intriguing prospect who can play multiple spots in a rotation. She possesses the physicality to play around the basket, athleticism to defend on the perimeter, handles the ball at the point of attack, gets to the basket, and uses her motor to make extra effort plays. She has been a key contributor to the Red Birds team, looking to possibly make a run this postseason, and I'm eager to see what she can do over the next few seasons.
