The post player from KML has taken excellent strides over the past year and has become one of the more productive post players in Wisconsin. Mayer is a physical player around the basket and has shown her ability to space the floor a bit with her Chapman Basketball Academy group this spring and summer. I thought she was excellent all weekend and was a handful for opposing posts to defend whenever she was on the floor.

The Kettle Moraine Lutheran forward carved out a role for herself in her sophomore season and became one of the more effective paint scorers in the state. Mayer is a physical player who can compete with anyone physically around the rim and is comfortable playing through contact. She may be slightly undersized for a post at the next level, but she has shown she can find ways to score around length.
