These No. 1 teams have tremendous talent. On this day, Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at some of the unsung players on these top-ranked teams.

Class 1: Stevie Gaines (Rock Port): A 5'10" 2029 forward who has emerged as a quality front court player in her first year which gives Rock Port the juice to make another run towards a Final Four appearance. She plays well from the high post where she can shoot it and drive effectively. She also gets out of her area to rebound the ball. She is averaging nine points and seven rebounds a game, with a number of double-doubles to her credit this season.

Class 2: Calleigh Noah (Clopton): A 5'9" 2027 forward who holds things down in the low post for a Hawks team that is currently undefeated with an 11-0 record. She is a physical player who uses her height and strength to establish her position in the paint, where she is hard to move when she does so. She can score on good power moves and drops steps in the lane. She also has a nice shooting touch around the basket. She is also a strong rebounder at both ends of the court. She is currently averaging seven points and six rebounds a game.

Class 2: [player_tooltip player_id='1133674' first='Anna' last='Crane'] (Tipton): The Cardinals have an established Big 3 with [player_tooltip player_id='722136' first='Ava' last='Schlotzhauer'], [player_tooltip player_id='620693' first='Madison' last='Carvajal'] and Claire Williams, who carry much of the offensive load. Crane is a 5'7" 2026 guard who does many solid things on the court that contribute to winning. If you concentrate to much on the prime scorers, she is capable of burning them with her perimeter shooting. She scored 10 points and hit three 3-pointers in a victory over St. Vincent last week. She is a good multi-sport athlete who handles the ball well and keeps the offense flowing with her passing. She is a solid player who does not make mistakes.

Class 3: [player_tooltip player_id='1113133' first='Paige' last='Ivy'] (Principia): A 5'9" 2028 forward who is an excellent athlete who plays with a high level of energy. She showed her value in an early-season game against St. Vincent at the Giants Shootout in Farmington. She entered the game when star forward [player_tooltip player_id='791650' first='Dasia' last='Scott'] picked up two quick fouls and had to sit down. Ivy came in and immediately made things happen with buckets, rebounds and excellent defense. She finished the game with 10 points, eight rebounds and five steals. She is a switchable defender who also rebounds with tenacity. She is also very good on the back end of the full court press.

Class 4: [player_tooltip player_id='1117282' first='Emery' last='Omon'] (St Joe Lafayette): A 5'9" 2027 forward who I always enjoy watching play because of her high energy and a strong motor that she plays with. When a shot goes it, you have to find her and block her out at all times because she is going at the offensive boards hard. She's a good athlete who also asserts herself on the defensive end with her tenacity. She plays the passing lanes for steals and she can also guard in the low post. She is a very switchable defender with her athletic versatility and height.

Class 5: Tilly Greenfield (Marshfield): A 5'7" 2026 guard who plays an excellent complimentary role on a very talented Blue Jays squad. She is a very good all-purpose player who rebounds the ball well for her size and can also impact a game on the defensive end. She has good defensive instincts and she makes good rotations and is always in position to get a steal or deflection. She is a good team player who will also take a charge or get on the floor for a loose ball for an extra possession.

Class 6: [player_tooltip player_id='1039489' first='Maddie' last='Perry'] (Incarnate Word): A 5'6" 2028 who has emerged as a big offensive spark off the bench with her bucket-getting ability. She really had a breakout performance at the recent Sophie Cunningham Classic against national Top 5 program Long Island Lutheran. Pressed into starting duty for the first time due to injury to SEMO recruit [player_tooltip player_id='351776' first='Addi' last='Owen'], she came through with 14 points as the Red Knights pulled off their biggest victory of the season. She hit a big 3-pointer in the fourth quarter of IWA's rally from a nine-point deficit. She is smooth offensive player with 3-point range and the ability to create her own shot with her handles and ability to change speeds.
