Friday morning, Prep Girls Hoops Indiana posted the Winter update for the Class of 2026. Typically accompanying updates are articles highlighting players on the move, newcomers, and just all-around general information regarding each position group. Below is a look at the top combo guards in the state of Indiana, followed by some commentary on a handful of uncommitted prospects who have played well since the Fall update.

[player_tooltip player_id='624877' first='Juliana' last='Davis'], Madison Consolidated H.S.
- Juliana has been a mainstay in the Cubs' lineup since her Freshman year, and they have improved as a team each season, plus she has continually become a much more dangerous weapon. She is long for her height, quick, fast, and fluid, plus she brings an array of skills to the table. She can make shots outside, get to the rim, or create for others. She's also a problem defensively, as she can really hound opposing ball-handlers.

[player_tooltip player_id='567128' first='Ahniyah' last='Bennett'], Connersville H.S.
- Ahniyah is a big-time athletic talent, so much so that she is drawing Division-I interest as a track & field prospect. She has length, speed & quickness, but she's also extremely bouncy and is one of the best athletes in the state, regardless of class. On the hardwood, she is great off the dribble and can get downhill quickly. She has a good handle, can create for others, plus her jumper has improved. She's also a ball-hawk defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='486529' first='Maddy' last='Wethington'], Danville Community H.S.
- Over the years, Maddy has been one of those kids who falls in the category of being steady. She does a little bit of everything well, and she doesn't make many mistakes. She is a solid all-around athlete, a good perimeter shooter, she can get North/South to score at times, but she also does a solid job of getting the team into their offense and finding open teammates. She could be a really nice small college "sleeper" at this point.

[player_tooltip player_id='900040' first='Natalie' last='Gagnon'], Charlestown H.S.
- Natalie is one of those players who is kind of deceptive. She isn't overly animated on the court, she just plays hard, fits in, and by the end of the game, she is productive across the board. She has length, fluidity, and a nice motor. She can make shots outside, slice to the basket, or manage an offense. She's also an excellent on-ball defender who uses her length well, and she's a willing rebounder. I like her all-around efficiency and hoops IQ.

[player_tooltip player_id='1122688' first='Taylor' last='Cotham'], Herron H.S.
- Taylor isn't very tall, but she is strong at her height, she's quick, and she can explode offensively. She is a capable perimeter shooter, but she's at her best when she plays compact, gets gaps, and attacks defenses. She understands how to finish in and around the "trees", but she is also a more than willing passer. She's a solid defender, but I think what's most impressive is, she is a great rebounder at her size and puts a lot of effort into it.
