Friday morning, Prep Girls Hoops Indiana posted the Winter update for the Class of 2026. Typically accompanying updates are articles highlighting players on the move, newcomers, and just all-around general information regarding each position group. Below is a look at the top power forwards in the state of Indiana, followed by some commentary on a handful of uncommitted prospects who have played well since the Fall update.

[player_tooltip player_id='1038868' first='Ruby' last='Singer'], Franklin County H.S.
- During the 2025 grassroots season, I felt like Ruby got better and better as the Summer came and went, and she was especially good throughout July. She is strong, she can play physically around the paint, but she also showed some skill around the perimeter. In July, she was able to put it on the floor 3 to 4 dribbles and productively get somewhere, plus she was consistent shooting the ball. I also liked her ability to chase down rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='832703' first='Mylee' last='McQueary'], Madison Consolidated H.S.
- Mylee is a long, wiry-strong, and fairly fluid forward. She is a solid perimeter shooter and almost prefers to play facing the basket instead of using her height around the rim. She does have the ability to put it on the floor North/South, but as she learns to play lower and be more dynamic off the dribble, that should help. As she continues to get stronger and play with more physicality, I think she has a lot of small college value because of her skill.

[player_tooltip player_id='761169' first='Kendall' last='Kaiser'], Evansville F.J. Reitz H.S.
- Kendall was near 6-feet tall when she entered high school, and she's right around that plateau now. She is a long, wiry, bouncy, but very active front-liner. She is a solid box-out rebounder, but she also pursues boards outside of her area well. She has some touch in the mid-post, but she is more physical and productive around the block than she might look. She is a really nice basketball player, but she's also a talented volleyballer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1256485' first='Lillian' last='Kelly'], Zionsville Community H.S.
- Lillian grew on me as May, June, and July wore on. She is physical, tough-nosed, and willing to do a lot of the "little" things that don't amass stats but help teams win. She rebounds the ball with a nice motor, she is really good scoring it inside of 15-feet, and I think she has a lot of value as an undersized post or a mid-post '4'. Lillian transferred from Brownsburg to Zionsville over the Summer, and I think she could be a small college "sleeper".

[player_tooltip player_id='1005168' first='Lucy' last='Hayden'], South Bend St. Joseph H.S.
- Lucy is another versatile interior player who utilizes her size and strength in combination with her skill. She has broad shoulders, the ability to almost bully opposing front-liners in the paint, and she can score it with her back to the basket. At the same time, she has nice mid-range touch, and she can even knock down the occasional 3-pointer. She's physical on block-outs and all-around defensively, plus she has a nice basketball IQ.
