Winter Rankings Update: 2027 New Additions Part 1

These are the newest additions to the 2027 class. <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/dakotas/rankings/north-dakota-rankings/2027-rankings/">FULL 2027 RANKINGS - CLICK ME!</a>    Faul is a true post and got her first varsity action game one against West Fargo. She has a very strong base and moves up and down the floor well. She does a good job of drawing fouls and getting to the free-throw line. She is a reserve this year but will see an increased role next season with the graduation of [player_tooltip player_id='379041' first='Leelee' last='Bell']. She has the tools to be an effective post player.     Halvorson is a key reserve for the Mavericks and someone I think can find a spot in the starting lineup at some point this season.  She is a very strong post who runs the floor well for her size.  She is crafty around the basket and can use her left hand to sneak in some easy baskets.  She is difficult to move around the hoop and does a good job of competing.  She is an excellent screener.     Radke is the starting point guard for the [program_tooltip program_id='712656' first='Mandan' last=''] Braves.  She is playing incredibly efficient to start the season.  Her first three games she had an effective field goal percentage of 72.7% and an assist to turnover percentage of 1.5.  She brings the juice defensively, particularly in the full-court.  She gets up on the ball and turns opponents back and forth, giving her teammates opportunities to jump passing lanes for easy steals.  Radke is a quality point guard that will help the Braves win a ton of games this season.     [program_tooltip program_id='712656' first='Mandan' last=''] has a ton of guards who are fighting for varsity minutes. They are looking at who is going to separate themselves from the rest of the pack. Milne is someone in the mix and should find herself in big games as the season progresses. The 5'6 guard is always in a defensive stance, something I can appreciate as a coach. She jumps to the ball and gives great effort. Her strength allows her to defend bigger opponents. She has three-point shooting ability as well.     Samantha is one of the better on-ball defenders I have seen. She has exceptionally quick feet and is really difficult to get by. She uses her hands well to irritate passing lanes and gets a lot of deflections. She is a total gamechanger on the defensive side of the floor. She is also a quality offensive player. She doesn't force shots and makes great decisions in the half-court. She is shot ready on inside-out passes and can knock down the three.     I am impressed with Ava's game. She is a great-sized forward and effective on both ends. She is long and athletic, has a strong base, and does a great job of staying in a defensive stance. She plays the middle of Glenburn's 1-3-1 half-court zone and is excellent at that position. She is a good rim defender, blocking and altering many shots. She is also great at keeping possessions alive on the offensive end with her rebounding effort.
