<p>As most 1A and 2A regionals came to a close Thursday night, there were many great performances around the state. Some teams fell, but other rose to the occasion and will look to continue their run during sectionals. </p>

<p>The first team is Cissna Park. They were dominate during regionals winning their semi final 54-22, and knocking off host Fieldcrest 55-20 in the Championship. Their road to a sectional title will start with Heyworth and then the winner of the Deer Creek Mackinaw Vs. Roanoke Benson game. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Addison has been a star this season, scoring her 2,000 point as well as becoming the all time leading scorer at Cissna Park. Lucht is a force on the offensive end being able to efficiently get to the hoop. She also can step out and nail a 3, making her a multi level threat. Lucht and Cissna Park will be a tough out during sectionals. </p>

<p>The second team is Carlyle. Carlyle started off regional play with a 56-42 semi-final win before rolling to a 49-31 championship win. They will start their sectional journey against the winner of Bluffs Vs. Concord ( Tri</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Johnson fills up the stat sheet for a good Carlyle team. She is effective on defense and scoring off turnovers, but she doesn't stop there. Johnson can hit a 3, get a rebound, or make a play. She is a do it all girl. </p>

<p>The third team is 2A Paris. Paris cruised to a 55-37 victory in their semi final before coming out with a 55-51 win in their regional championship. They will open sectional play against the host school Richland County. </p>

<p>Young is a key player on a very good Paris team. She has great court vision and can find the openings in the defense. Young takes what is given and never really seems to force it. Kailey is someone college coaches will want to keep their eyes on. </p>

<p>The final team from 2A is St. Joseph Ogden. St, Joes won their regional starting with a 51-30 win in the semi finals and capping it off with a 53-40 regional championship win. They will start sectional play against Manteno. </p>
