In High School Basketball it feels like last year with a lot of the same teams playing in the Regional finals with a chance to reach the Final 4 again in their perspective classes. There are a few new teams who were expected to make it to this point, but no one expected 6th seed Bartram Trail to be here - well maybe Bartram knew they were catching fire at the right time. In consecutive weeks, they knocked off the two seed and the three seed. Now that they are in the mix and have their sights set on the final 4 and only one team stands in their way- cross county rival- the number one seed Tocoi Creek who is looking to return to the final 4 for the second straight season. In this article, we take a look at the key players fueling the late playoff push for Bartram Trail.

[player_tooltip player_id='514624' first='Miranda' last='Campos'] brings one of the toughest matchup problems going into the regional finals. Her energy, rebounding, and scoring in the paint has presented problems for the opposition all season long. Campos has always flirted with averaging a double double which speaks to her unique skill set and athleticism. The senior forward has found the extra gear she had as a Freshman and has added ball skills to go with it. She will be the catalyst for her team going into the regional finals.

[player_tooltip player_id='752581' first='Alyssa' last='Donohue'] knows how to put the ball in the basket (15.9 points per game) and she is one of those players who plays better with the game on the line. Donohue is a slasher who can put th ball down and get to the rim and finish. She is also dangerous in the open court where she fills the lane or leads the break. Donohue can shoot the three, but is more dangerous in the mid-range area. Defensively, she has good length, plays well in the passing lanes, and leads her team in steals. Donohue is alsonsneaky on the help side and can block shots from the guard position. Donohue impacts the game in multiple ways and is game changer who plays well in crunch time.

[player_tooltip player_id='400809' first='Esa' last='Brenneman'] is a force in multiple sports. On the courts she is scary athletic and can impact a game in multiple ways. Offensively, Brenneman can shoot the three and when she is on, she can score them in flurries. She plays well on the ball and averages close to 3 steals per game. Brenneman is also a playmaker who can get the ball to Campos and Donohue after drawing double teams. Brenneman is the X Factor in the playoffs because of her ability to shoot, facilitate, rebound, score from the free-throw line, or do whatever her team needs to win.

[player_tooltip player_id='514916' first='Caeli' last='Weaver'] is the 6'2 sophomore who can score in the paint, can shoot from the perimeter, and runs the floor well for a big. Weaver also gives help on the boards and is a plus on defense with her ability to turn drivers away. Weaver could play a key role down the stretch with her ability to make a play on both ends of the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='647734' first='Laila' last='Safford'] is also a key contributor off the bench and she is capable of making a few plays. Safford rebounds well and has a decent outside shot. The junior can make plays on both ends of the floor. At 6'0, Stafford also gets a few blocks and she is long. Her mere presence makes attacking guards think twice about attacking the rim.
