Her ability to break down defenders with her dribble moves and score on both sides of the basket effectively in the paint goes heavily into her being a high-level scorer. She also has a three-point shot in her game, but does not need it to dominate games. Her offense takes place mainly inside the paint, as she plays the center/PF position for Rossview. In getting her points, she is elite at setting up post-ups that lead directly to baskets. Her speed at the big position also allows her to slip past a lot of opposing centers and find open space that leads to open inside shots.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of Hankemeier's best offensive performances this season was against Northeast High School, where she scored 40 points. Hankemeier is also a highly-skilled rebounder. At 5'10", Tolbert, unlike most high school players, has solid dribbling skills. This allows her to push the floor herself after securing a rebound, which sometimes leads to fastbreak buckets. Tolbert, at her size, also has an improving three-point jumper. In a game against Wilson Central, she had two makes from beyond the arc.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Tolbert's main offensive production, however, does take place in the paint. She is highly athletic, so she can rise and get good looks above a swarm of defenders. And she has good strength, so she can bully her way through contact and displace some defenders defending her down low. Moss mainly gets her points inside the arc, although she is a more than capable distance shooter. She is great at using her speed and strength to attack defenders, going downhill to create open space for a bucket. She is effective in attacking the basket on both sides, as she can score in the paint with her left and right hand. Brown is a highly skilled scorer near the basket. She can make what are difficult shots for most players near the bucket look as easy as a wide-open layup in some cases.
