Ferris vs Kamiakin

What Stood Out

This game was defined by efficiency and second chances. Ferris shot 24 percent from the field and 32 percent from three, while Kamiakin shot 36 percent overall and converted 10 free throws to Ferris' six. The biggest statistical separator was on the glass. Kamiakin finished with 40 total rebounds, including 21 offensive boards, compared to Ferris' 26 total rebounds. Those extra possessions consistently extended Braves scoring opportunities and prevented Ferris from generating momentum. Turnovers also told part of the story. Ferris committed 18, while Kamiakin had 10. In a game where shot making was already difficult, empty possessions became too much to overcome. Ferris found success from beyond the arc with seven threes, but interior scoring and rebounding control belonged to Kamiakin throughout the night

Who Stood Out

Lewis finished with 14 points, knocking down two three pointers and converting both of her free throws. She was aggressive from the perimeter and did not hesitate when space was available. Despite tough shooting nights across the lineup, she continued to hunt quality looks and compete on the defensive end.

Chisholm also scored 14, hitting two threes and going a perfect 4 for 4 from the free throw line. She attacked closeouts and stayed poised at the stripe, providing stability when Ferris needed it. Her ability to score from multiple spots kept the Saxons within reach early.

Castaneda led the Braves with 15 points and showed a willingness to carry offensive stretches when needed. While her scoring output was modest, her rebounding impact was significant. Extra possessions were a major theme of this game, and Kiel's activity around the rim fueled that advantage.

This matchup came down to efficiency and control of the paint. Ferris found perimeter success in spurts but could not sustain offensive rhythm. Kamiakin leveraged rebounding dominance and steadier possession management to create separation. Over the course of four quarters, that consistency translated into a decisive result.
