<p>It was the state championship weekend for NCISAA hosted in Greensboro, North Carolina. Four new state champions have been crowned, and a handful of seniors played their last game in high school. Let's look at some of the seniors that stepped up on the big stage.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='678224' first='Kennedy' last='Jackson'] was quickly identified as the shooter knocking down shots from all over the court and throughout the game. She attacked the basket well making adjustments at the rim for two points. On defense, she knew how to anticipate what her opponents will do coming up with a steal.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='509585' first='Jaiden' last='Thompson'] started off the scoring grabbing an offensive rebound, using her power dribbles, and going back up to bank it off the glass. She was feisty on defense getting her hands in the way knocking the ball away using her length to prevent her opponents from getting the ball in bounds. She did well grabbing rebounds on both ends of the court. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='257990' first='Jaida' last='McClure'] is such a sure bet from deep hitting her shots from around the perimeter no matter what hands are in her way. She did well getting her hands in the way on defense anticipating what her opponents were going to try to get going on offense. She did a sensational job driving to the basket, drawing defenders towards her, and making the dish inside. She was even crashing boards grabbing rebounds. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Jane Updyke was protecting the basket well on defense using her length and strong stance to block access to the rim. She battled for loose possessions diving on the floor to gain them for her team. She was flashing in the paint getting to the openings looking for the pass.</p>

She did well finding the open lanes cutting down to the basket to get the pass and get to the rim. She had some big blocks in the paint protecting the basket. She showed off her range knocking down her shot from deep.</p>
