Juniors Who Closed Strong

Five juniors closed out the regular season with strong, consistent performances, building momentum at the perfect time as their teams head into the postseason.    Corinne plays with outstanding poise and a high-level feel for the game, consistently making the right reads on both ends of the floor. An explosive athlete, she continues to add to an already decorated resume, recently reaching the 1,000 rebound milestone after previously joining her school's 1,000-point club, while also drawing new college interest with offers from Rutgers and Miami. Offensively, she is extremely versatile, able to attack downhill with a tight handle from the perimeter, operate with her back to the basket for post finishes and fades, and stop in the lane for a smooth floater. Defensively, she shows strong anticipation and timing, using active hands and her athleticism to contest and swat shots at the right moment.     Autumn made an immediate impact at the start of the season with four straight double-doubles, including a record-setting 20-rebound, 28-point performance, and she has continued that momentum into the late stretch. In a recent game against St. Thomas More, she recorded another double-double with 28 points and 11 rebounds while also adding a triple-double impact with eight steals, showcasing her all-around presence. She shot the ball confidently from deep, knocking down four three-pointers, including one off the dribble in transition, while also demonstrating impressive range from well beyond the arc. Her ability to space the floor while still dominating the glass makes her a difficult matchup on both ends.     Koharu was a key contributor in helping Dana Hall close the regular season with important wins, bringing speed, composure, and toughness every time she stepped on the court. She excels at getting into the paint where her patience and footwork allow her to either create her own shot or make the smart kick-out pass when help defenders collapse. In transition, she is extremely fast and often beats opponents down the floor for easy scoring opportunities. From the perimeter, she has a quick release and confidently knocks down threes when given even a small window of space, while also impacting the game through high-effort plays like taking charges and diving for loose balls.     Davina finished the regular season on a strong note and now enters postseason play with clear momentum after several impactful performances. In a recent game against Lincoln-Sudbury, she posted 15 points, 5 assists, and 3 rebounds while knocking down three three-pointers and effectively attacking a zone defense. She does a great job reading defensive pressure along the arc, using one or two controlled dribbles to get into her mid-range pull-up or all the way to the rim. Beyond her scoring, she consistently fights on the glass on both ends, helping end defensive possessions and generating second-chance opportunities through effort and positioning.     Lia capped the regular season with a dominant 35-point triple-double that included 10 rebounds, 10 assists, 6 steals, and 7 deflections, while also knocking down five threes on highly efficient shooting. She is a confident perimeter shooter who moves well in transition to find open space and get quality looks from deep. Defensively, her active hands stand out as she picks pockets, creates turnovers, and quickly pushes the pace the other way. She brings relentless hustle, willingly diving for loose balls and playing with constant energy, while also showing strong control in transition and the ability to score at all three levels, including creative finishes around taller defenders.
