Middle Schoolers Making an Impact – Part 2

Her quickness on the floor is really impressive. She is able to sprint past most opponents with ease. When she has the ball, she is even more difficult to keep in front due to her ability to change speed and direction. She is crafty going to the basket and has good footwork on her finishing. She is currently healing up a broken finger and is sorely missed on the floor. She will hopefully be back soon and will make Northern Cass a completely different team come Region tournament time. She is a do-it-all type of player. She can defend, rebound, handle the ball, shoot, and get to the basket. She is a great athlete and looks like she has grown since last season. She has helped the Pirates to an 8-0 record in District 5 and a 17-2 record overall. She is a steady and capable ball-handler who is a good passer against pressure. She is a tough and gritty player who isn't afraid to dive on the floor and get loose balls. She has found herself in a two-half varsity role as only a 7th grader. She is super quick and plays with a ton of confidence. You can tell she isn't afraid of anything each time she steps on the floor. She makes great decisions with the ball and knows when to shoot it and when to pass it along to a teammate. She has a smooth shot and can stretch the floor from deep. She recently cracked the starting lineup for the Dickinson Mavericks. She is a good athlete with a frame to grow. She is a determined young player who is a total gym rat. She has a nice looking shot and is shooting a good percentage from deep, right around 33%. She is also a tremendous on-ball defender. She is a threat from deep as soon as she crosses the half-line, recently knocking down 6 made three-pointers against New Rockford/Sheyenne. She has a very quick release and does a good job of getting her feet set. She is a nice defender and hard to get by.
