County & conference winners have been crowned across the state as the season enters its final phase, state playoffs. The following ladies put their best foot forward in their respective championship games and have been named by Prep Girls Hoops as the brackets' "Finals MVP."

Bergen County Tournament

Champion: (2) Demarest

MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='600897' first='Gabriella' last='Mittelman']

Gabby's 21-point effort helped curb Ramapo's upset hunger after taking down top-seeded Immaculate Heart in the semis. She helped break open a big lead after a tight 1st quarter, as Demarest led 41-25 after 3. A trio of triples, aggressive play at the rim and multiple trips to the FT line saw her tally points quickly.

Bergen County Invitational

Champion: (20) Paramus Catholic

MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='835465' first='Olivia' last='Buckingham']

Liv's breakout season was stamped on Friday with a game-best 24 points to lift the Paladins to victory. The scrappy guard pretty much had her way with Cresskill's defensive schemes, breaking them down and getting to the basket at will. No shortage of effort in this one!

Burlington County Tournament

Champion: (1) Lenape

MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='835906' first='El-Anita' last='Joe-Samuel']

Anita's career day vs Moorestown saw her drop a monster 40-point, 17-rebound double-double and nearly outscore the Quakers all by herself! She was everywhere, hitting shots inside and out, as well as defending the paint and perimeter (4 blocks & 2 steals). She was unable to be contained, blitzing through the defense and using unmatched physicality to power through the double-team and tally points at a furious pace.

Camden County Tournament

Champion: (1) Paul VI

MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='601275' first='Rachel' last='Thatcher']

With one of her highest scoring games this season, Rachel dropped 19 points to keep Camden Catholic at bay and prevent a second half surge (25-19 first half). She continues to boost her stock tremendously and solidify her position as one of the best '26 guards in the state. Her ability to create through traffic and intense ball pressure guided the Eagles to 34-18 second half and ultimately, the CCT chip.

CAL Tournament

Champion: (1) Middle Township

MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='782640' first='Mya' last='Robinson']

The senior had her moment in the sun on Saturday vs Wildwood Catholic. She did a little bit of everything to help the Panthers pull off the narrow 42-35 victory, tallying a game-high 16 points and 5 rebounds. Defensively, she was rock solid, switching whenever the assignment required and keeping the Crusaders to limited shooting. Her senior experience was absolutely clutch when it mattered most!

Colonial Valley Conference Tournament

Champion: (2) Princeton

MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='600912' first='Anna' last='Winters']

Anna put forth a tremendous effort, especially late, to hold off Notre Dame 57-52. A game-high 25 points to go with 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals showed off an impressive all-court effort. She sank three triples and had an answer every single time the Irish launched an attack.

Essex County Tournament

Champion: (2) West Orange

MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='559042' first='London' last='Caldwell']

While London earns MVP honors thanks to a game-high 20 points, it's not lost on us [player_tooltip player_id='825463' first='Rhyan' last='Watt']'s had a tremendous near triple-double (8 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, 4 steals), which deserves a ton of praise. As University mounted a 4th quarter surge, London upped her confidence and remained collected under pressure. She added 4 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal to cap off a big day.

Essex County Invitational

Champion: (16) North Star Academy

MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='1247750' first='Bree' last='Witherspoon']

A confidence-boosting win over Newark Collegiate saw Bree tally 12 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. A strong two-way effort made life miserable for the Panthers as she scored at the rim, banged in [two] triples and forced turnovers in quick fashion.

Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament

Champion: (1) St. Thomas Aquinas

MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='559080' first='Jordan' last='Barnes']

Jordan gave it all she had to help STA dominate East Brunswick 62-41 and snatch the chip. She poured in 20 points, pulled down 7 rebounds, dished out 4 assists and swiped 4 steals. A selfless and confident all-around game saw major contributions on both ends of the floor.

Hudson County Tournament

Champion: (1) Bayonne

MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='913943' first='Sophia' last='Feeney']

With a skillset well advanced beyond her years, the freshman showed tremendous poise en-route to 15 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 steals. Multiple trips to the stripe saw her sink clutch free throws, but none more clutch than the two she hit to force OT.

Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex Tournament

Champion: (1) Pope John

MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='601267' first='Mia' last='Washington']

Mia's fifth double-double of the season sealed the deal for Pope John in a 45-38 win over Sparta. 22 points, 11 rebounds and 3 steals helped the Lady Lions hold off a strong effort by the Spartans who won the fourth quarter 17-16. Six of her twenty-two points came off two triples as she displayed efficient inside-out offense.

NJIC Tournament

Champion: (1) Glen Rock

MVP: Mia Vergel De Dios

A phenomenal all-court effort saw Mia tally 16 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals to propel the Panthers to their second consecutive NJIC chip. She led with toughness and let her athleticism shine against an upset-minded Secaucus squad.

Morris County Tournament

Champion: (1) Morris Catholic

MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='667787' first='Jacqueline' last='Edelman']

In a well-balanced scoring attack, Jax shined a little brighter than the rest to claim game MVP honors. She notched her second double-double of the season, tallying 16 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Her versatility was on full display as she showed off 3-level scoring and defended both the guard and forward positions.

Passaic County Tournament

Champion: (1) DePaul

MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='972291' first='Angelyn' last='Almonte']

Angelyn proved why she's the state's top-ranked freshman with a strong two-way performance vs Paterson Eastside. She recorded a game-high 21 points, 2 assists and 7 steals to give DePaul their second straight PCT Chip. Fearless shot-taking and pressure-filled defense made life truly miserable for the Ghosts, unable to contain her elite size & speed combination.

Shore Conference Tournament

Champion: (1) Red Bank Catholic

MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='559041' first='Tessa' last='Liggio']

A career-high 21 points led the Caseys to their second straight SCT title with a huge 53-49 win over powerhouse St. John Vianney. Tessa was inextinguishable from the arc, knocking down four triples and showing off deep range. SJV's stifling perimeter pressure was no match for her hot hand.

Shore Conference Coaches Cup

Champion: (2) Wall

MVP: Gemma Brett

The freshman had a big breakout game to help Wall hold off Freehold Borough and claim the SCCC. Gemma poured in 16 points accompanied by 2 rebounds and 2 steals. A strong fourth quarter surge helped seal the deal, with Wall outscoring Boro 21-15.

Tri-County Tournament Championship

Champion: (1) Gloucester Catholic

MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='601413' first='Jahzara' last='Green']

Jahzara poured in 23 points and dished out 6 assists (both game highs) to give the Lady Rams their third straight Tri-County crown, demolishing Wildwood 65-26 in the final. The Lady Warriors were unmatched by her size, strength and skill. Z was a woman amongst girls, fighting off the double to muscle up shots at the rim and stepping out to hit [two] 3 balls.

Union County Tournament

Champion: (1) New Providence

MVP: [player_tooltip player_id='601332' first='Annie' last='Conover']

Each of Annie's game-high 17 points were absolutely crucial as Westfield gave it a valiant effort in this one. NP ultimately prevailed, 38-35, with the senior leading the charge and playing physical, hard-nosed basketball. She pulled down 7 rebounds and dished 4 assists (both game highs) to keep the Pioneers afloat. Her experience and big-time shot-making in the fourth quarter (10 points) was the difference-maker in this one.

County & conference winners have been crowned across the state as the season enters its final phase, state playoffs. The following ladies put their best foot forward in their respective championship games and have been named by Prep Girls Hoops as the brackets' "Finals MVP."
