The Regional Finals tip off tonight, and for some players, this will be the last time they lace them up. Emotions are going to be high. Seniors are playing for one more game. With over 20 games on the slate, there's no shortage of competitive games across the state. Here are a few of the top matchups, in my opinion, that deserve your attention tonight.

Quincy Notre Dame vs. Civic Memorial - Both teams are coming into this game with a strong roster and players who can compete on both sides. Though there's no "star" on both sides, these players play to compete, and this game could go the distance. With QND having a deeper history of making far in the state tournament and winning, I'm leaning towards them to win this game.

Washington vs. Dunlap - Washington has been one of the best, if not the best team in 3A this year, and tonight they will face off against a program that is not afraid. They have two young stars on that Dunlap team that can control the pace and take over a game at will. Washington's win by committee style will need to be sharp, but I believe they will take this game.

Butler College Prep vs Marian - Butler has made the jump to 3A this year and has truly held their own against some strong teams. They have a star in [player_tooltip player_id='514895' first='Xyanna' last='Walton'] who can change the outcome of the game, as well as young talent that can play 4 quarters straight with no fall off. Marian Catholic is no easy competition. Players like [player_tooltip player_id='881817' first='Ty' last='Jackson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='989081' first='Nyila' last='Williams'] will carry a ton of the load, but can definitely be competitive. I'm taking Butler College Prep to win this one.

MacArthur vs Taylorville - The Generals have had a very successful season up to this point, and Lexi Meyer has been key to that.. and her output will forsure factor in how this game turns out. Other key pieces around her can help if the night is off (Journee Wilson), but Taylorville is not what their record might reflect. This is a program with players who compete no matter the score. I'm taking MacArthur to win this game.
