3A Championship Review/Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On <strong>Saturday, February 28th</strong>, at the <strong>Veteran's Memorial Coliseum</strong> in <strong>Phoenix</strong>, the #1 <strong>Window Rock Fighting Scouts</strong> took on the #2 <strong>Page Sand Devils</strong> for the <strong>3A Girls State Championship</strong>. This game was a close affair as neither team had a lead of more than 5 points. Tesigne displayed strong ball skills for a forward, showing the ability to handle the ball and even initiate the offense by bringing the ball up the floor when needed. She finished with a near double-double with 8 points and 11 rebounds, while also contributing 4 assists and multiple defensive plays. James uses her length well on defense and covers ground quickly with long strides.
