Lynden High School

Lynden enters state as the team everyone is chasing. The Lions finished the regular season undefeated and sit at the top of the classification in scoring, rebounding, and assist categories. Their mix of size inside and perimeter play makes them difficult to defend in half-court sets. Lynden also rebounds at a high rate, limiting second-chance points for opponents. Elite ball movement and defensive pressure help them control pace in tight games.

Prosser High School

Prosser comes into state ranked near the top of 2A with one of the strongest resumes in the classification. The Mustangs have navigated a competitive schedule and consistently respond in close games. Their offense moves through multiple scoring options, which makes them difficult to scout. If they dictate pace and protect the basketball, they are built to make a deep run.

Deer Park High School

Deer Park enters the bracket ranked among the top teams in 2A and has the guard play to challenge anyone. The Stags have built their season around disciplined defense and efficient shot selection. They rarely beat themselves and consistently stay within striking distance late. If their perimeter shooting travels, Deer Park has the structure to reach the final rounds.

Boesel is the stabilizer for Deer Park. She handles primary ball duties and can score when defenses overcommit. Her ability to manage pace keeps the Stags composed in pressure situations. She also competes defensively and forces turnovers at key moments.

Bryant adds scoring punch and perimeter defense. She attacks gaps off the dribble and finishes well in transition. On the defensive end, she applies ball pressure that disrupts opposing guards. Her two way presence gives Deer Park balance in the backcourt.

Mills has been Lynden's most dominant force this season. She leads the team in scoring at 14.0 points per game and in rebounds at 7.6 per game. Her efficiency inside the paint and ability to finish through contact give Lynden a reliable interior presence. Mills also contributes as a playmaker, averaging over two assists per game, which helps keep the offense balanced.

Hermanutz provides steady scoring and dynamic playmaking for the Lions. She averages 8.4 points per game and leads the team in assists with 4.3 per game. Her defensive activity is also a strength, ranking high in steals and blocks for the squad. Hermanutz's ability to create shots and distribute under pressure gives Lynden another dependable option in late game scenarios.
