A freshman starter for Lincoln School this season, Wakins was a critical piece in the quest to win a championship. LS definitely earned their trophy as they battled it out and Aubrey's regular double-digit scoring really helped propel the high-powered squad. It was hard for teams to have to pay attention to the triple-threat LS presented and it was typically Aubrey who got to take advantage when the attention was shifted to the upperclassmen. It'll be intriguing to see what she can do next season with even more touches. Watch out for her this spring/summer though; Aubrey has proven after this season that she's a prominent stock riser that can't be overlooked any more.

Don't be fooled by her charming charisma either, Hamelin should be known as the "smiling assassin". She carried her squad deep into the postseason, getting all the way to the championship game. Westerly's star freshman provided the squad with deep paint penetration and decisive playmaking that kept defenders constantly guessing. Santanaa wasn't one to let her foot off the gas either, it seemed she turned the heat up in all her biggest matchups and kept pushing forward even though she had the advantage in individual matchups. The '29 pg has had her coming out party this school season.

Reddicks in a tones setter that can do a lot on the floor. The versatile skillset works well with just about anybody and even though she's not the biggest scorer, she'll consistently find other ways to affect the game. The rebounding, ability to guard multiple positions plus the general effort given in each game will generate results no matter what.

The All-League freshman is a name to know in VT hoops. Alice came into the season earning more minutes and started to really hit her stride in the back half of the schedule with more experience gained. There were a couple of games that were clear standouts, but her 20 pt performance vs Poultney is the first that comes to mind. Alice's strategic approach within the halfcourt make the word functional seem like an understatement.

[player_tooltip player_id='1817956' first='Ayla' last='Kittredge'] (2029) | CG | VHS

Kittredge is one of VT's most potent young scoring threats. The consistency shown from the freshman became a staple for her squad. The team relied on her crafty scoring capabilities no matter who they were matched up against. She also opens up opportunities for teammates as defenders have to make concentrated efforts to slow her down. Even though young lead guards can typically be of concern when they're used in so much action, Kittredge remains dependable despite being such a high usage initiator. She simply gave Vergennes a better chance to win this season.
