Saturday night at the Phhacility in Phoenix, Gregg Rosenberg and I hosted the 2nd Annual Attitude of Gratitude Senior All-Star Game, and it did not disappoint. Some of the state's top seniors showed up and showed out, competing at a high level in front of college coaches from across Arizona. This was a true showcase of what Arizona girls' basketball has to offer. Events like this continue to highlight the depth of talent in the state while giving these seniors one more opportunity to compete, be seen, and represent their programs with pride. A special thank you to Coach Charles Wilson of Sandra Day O'Connor High School and Coach Dante Hunter for leading and pouring into these young ladies throughout the event.

Here are evaluations of the gray team,

One of the game's MVPs, and it was easy to see why. Slack has been one of the best shooters in the state for years, and she reminded everyone again. Emma has a quick release, minimal space needed, and when she gets going, it looks effortless. You can't lose her defensively for a second, or you will regret it. She is committed to Chandler-Gilbert Community College.

Brown brought a physical presence to the floor all game. She's got a strong frame and knows how to use it, especially around the rim, where she finished through contact. What stood out most was her activity—she has a natural nose for the ball and consistently put herself in position to make plays. She showed a reliable mid-range jumper as well, which adds another layer to her offensive package.

Buckner showed why she is the top unsigned senior in the state. She impacted the game in every phase. Facilitating, scoring, defending—she did it all. What sets her apart is her ability to score at all three levels while also making others better. She played with a level of control and confidence that you expect from a high-level prospect.

Juarez continues to show why she's coming off a strong season in which she led the Grind Session in scoring. What I liked here was her poise. She doesn't force the issue offensively—she lets the game come to her. Smooth, controlled, and efficient. When she picks her spots, she's effective, and that kind of discipline translates well at the next level. She's committed to Weber State.

Crump brought speed and energy, changing the pace of the game. She thrived in transition, using her athleticism to get downhill and finish, especially through contact. She puts pressure on defenses simply by how fast she plays.

Allred played like it was March. Her intensity on both ends stood out immediately, but especially defensively. She competes, she communicates, and she brings a level of toughness that coaches love. She treated an all-star game like a championship environment, and coaches love that.

Miles gave you toughness and leadership. She hit big shots when it mattered and didn't shy away from key moments. Beyond the scoring, her communication and presence stood out—she was engaged, vocal, and clearly a stabilizer on the floor.
