<h3 class="wp-block-heading">First year in the books for the <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/illinois/rankings/2029-watch-list/">Class of 2029.</a> These updated college prospect rankings come after the completion of their freshman seasons and reflect the growth shown throughout the year, their impact on winning games, and the roles they played in their teams deep playoff runs. Stats, all-conference honors, and even all-state awards do not hold true value when it comes to these movements. Once again, the quality of the competition matters, and how players perform when the level rises carries far more weight in these evaluations. Below are some of the top stock risers in the 2029 class.</h3>    From afar, it appears Nowacki has added a few inches to her frame, and the length she already had from a wingspan standpoint is noticeable. She brings a strong balance between scoring at all three levels and facilitating for others. The handle is solid, and she does a good job of not overdribbling within possessions. As the level of competition gets stronger this spring and summer, it will give a clearer picture of how her game continues to translate.     An underrated player from a visibility standpoint, Edison will be one to watch this spring and summer. She has all the tangible tools that can continue to separate her from the pack, and most of that is on the defensive end. From an offensive standpoint, there is a potential for her to be an all around threat, and you can see the potential in that the moment you watch her play.     A catch and shoot threat from beyond the arc, and a player who can slide into the ball handling role with no problem. Aiyana is built like the new age guard. Lengthy, agile, and athletic, she shows those traits on both ends of the floor. When it comes to scoring, she leans on her shooting, and defensively, she finds her way into the paint for blocks while also dealing with attacking guards and knocking them off their path.     Glenbard South had one hell of a season this year, and Bailey can throw her hat in the ring as one of the key reasons why. As a freshman, her confidence on the court didn't go unnoticed, and she stepped up in some big moments to help this team pick up important wins in the postseason. The next step will be to see those same moments against higher level competition, and the spring and summer circuit will give us the chance to evaluate that.     Coming into a program heavy in the guard position, Sedillo had to be patient for her time, but when those opportunities presented themselves, she had a handful of moments where her upside was evident. Regardless of her size, she can score in bunches and is not afraid to find her way to the rim when the angle is there. Solid handle, and a high amount of speed to go with it. The potential is there.
