Sedillo has always found a way to stand out on a court full of bigger guards. She has no issue attacking and going right at taller and stronger players. One of her biggest separating skills from those around her age group is her IQ. You can tell she understands how to be dominant in all facets on the offensive side. She is quick and decisive off handoffs and screens, and has no problem operating from the top of the key.

Megan, a guard for Mac Irvin Lady Fire , delivered an outstanding performance at the MI College Tour Northwood, impacting the game in a variety of ways. She showed off her range by knocking down multiple shots from beyond the arc, including a few from well beyond the three-point line. Megan also attacked the basket with toughness, converting a couple of and-one finishes through contact. She stayed active on the glass, securing offensive rebounds and turning them into second-chance points. On the defensive end, she brought grit and toughness, stepping in to take charges and doing the little things that help teams win. Her all-around effort made her one of the most impressive guards at the event.

Coming into a program heavy in the guard position, Sedillo had to be patient for her time, but when those opportunities presented themselves, she had a handful of moments where her upside was evident. Regardless of her size, she can score in bunches and is not afraid to find her way to the rim when the angle is there. Solid handle, and a high amount of speed to go with it. The potential is there.

Mac Irvin is always known for having strong guards, and Sedillo could have a chance to enter her name in that grouping. She is full of confidence and plays the game with 100% energy from start to finish. Offensively, she can score over or around the bigs, and she can stretch the court. She uses her size to her advantage on most possessions. Strong potential.

Benet has always had strong guards, and even the younger ones have shown moments of growth as well, especially since the coaches for the non varsity teams do a great job of developing. Sedillo will fall in that group and will be a strong piece for this program throughout high school. She already has a solid offensive skillset and plays the game with a ton of aggression and confidence. The potential is there.

The Benet guards are deep, so varsity points could be hard to get, but it would not shock me if Sedillo is utilized at some point. However, the Benet program develops its young talent, whether varsity or not, and Megan is coming in with a strong amount of skill and confidence already. A for sure player to watch over the next 4 years.

Sedillo is one of those high energy guards who is sure to cause some issues for defenders at this event. She’s beyond her age when it comes to the basics of the game. She can legit be effective in multiple roles. If you need a defender to guard 84ft and be a pest, pick Sedillo, if you need to stretch the floor, pick Sedillo. Strong potential.

Sedillo is fundamentally sound. While she drains 3’s and can shoot free-throws with her eyes shut, she makes a big impact with her defense. Love her on ball pressure, and how alert she is in help side. Solid handles!

Over the past couple of events that I’ve watched Sedillo participate in, she’s been impressive. Regardless of her ability to score, she shows the knowledge of what a true combo guard should be striving to be. She’s crafty, but not excessive… she’s aggressive but knows when to be passive. For her age, she has such a strong IQ for this game. Her name will be highlighted for our next update

. Sediilo has some craftiness to her game but overall, she is just really fundamental for her age. She keeps it simple, plays off of two feet, and she knows a lot about situational basketball for her age level. On Sunday she was a constant for the Fire in their win. She made her presence known while playing up an age level and that’s something you love to see moving into high school b
