Regionals are over, we are down to the final 16 teams in each division, and by Saturday we will know who is Green Bay bound. Today I will highlight who I see as key difference makers, in Division 4 that could help their teams pull an upset tonight.

[player_tooltip player_id='1305060' first='Carly' last='Pankratz']-Stratford

The 21-5 Tigers have a huge task ahead of them as they face off with the 23-3 St. Mary Catholic Zephyrs tonight in Omro. The Key to this game, for Stratford, will be the play of the 5-6 junior Pankratz. The defensive specialist exploded for 27, in the Regional final, and carried the Tigers to a 64-53 win over Marathon. Stratford will need her hot play to carry over, from a game in which she was 4 for 7 from three and 11 of 14 from the free-throw line, if they are to pull off the upset tonight over a loaded Zephyr squad.

[player_tooltip player_id='992499' first='Josie' last='Christian']-Lomira

Lomira is in their first Sectional, since the 2012 season, largely in part to [player_tooltip player_id='992499' first='Josie' last='Christian']. The 5-7 sophomore has been virtually unguardable, all season, averaging just under 26 a game to go with 7.2 boards, 3.7 assists, and 5.3 steals while shooting 36.3% from deep and 79% from the free-throw line. Staring the Lions in the face is the #1 seeded, 22-3 Kohler Blue Bombers and their fantastic sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1134483' first='Gwenn' last='Elliott'] who is averaging just under 24 a game. A career night, by Christian, might be needed if Lomira is to pull the upset.

Gabby Stangel-Kewaunee

The 21-5 Kewaunee Storm are looking for revenge tonight as they face off with the #1 Manitowoc Lutheran Lancers, a team they lost to 64-57 on January 22nd. For that to happen, The Storm will need 5-5 Gabby Stangel to step up and play a huge role to help complement leading scorer [player_tooltip player_id='777574' first='Jade' last='Kroll']. In the Regional final, Stangel was held to just 8, on 3 of 11 shooting, and for the tournament is averaging 9 per game a couple of points below her season average.
