She understands how to keep the ball high in the post. Nearly 20 points and 15 rebounds per game. Reliable soft hands to catch and finish. Kailea is RELENTLESS on the offensive glass. Her feel for the game stands out. She stays engaged defensively with remarkable recovery to alter shots around the basket. What is even more impressive given her size is her anticipation to jump passing lanes. Kailea's presence in the full-court press proved to be monumental. Very few centers control the game on both ends like Kailea Davis-Kent.

The 1st-Team All Heritage League selection displayed noticeable improvement across the board as a junior. Makenzie is known for her length, athleticism, and defense. She is now a dominant rebounder and an even better defender. The efficiency on the offensive end was very impressive this year. Makenzie led her team in field goal, free-throw, and 3pt percentage. Her confidence and skillset continues to evolve. The stroke looks pure. 21 made threes this year! She can also put the ball on the floor and attack the basket from the perimeter. The standout junior was much more aggressive as a scorer, and this translated to wins for the 16-5 Desert Christian Knights. There is a very short list of 6'1 forwards who average 4 blocks and 3 steals a game while leading their team in scoring. Makenzie Duffee is one of the most reliable 2-way prospects in the 2027 class.

Janessa played her role to perfection for a Rio Vista squad with depth across the board. She is a defensive menace and an elite rim protector. Rio Vista's balanced attack relied heavily on the X-factor that is Janessa McDowell. 12 games with 4 or more blocks, including a season-high 10 blocks vs. Mesa Verde! She impacts the game on both ends without needing to score. Janessa is a difference maker who plays hard even when she is not getting the ball. The motor, length, athleticism, and quick-twitch instincts all stand out. Janessa is arguably the top shot blocker in the 2027 class.

The All-City Division 1 selection took her game to new heights as a junior. Nylah showcased noticeable improvement across the board this year: 15ppg, 10rpg, 2.5spg, 1.1bpg. The versatility and fluidity puts Nylah in a league of her own. She has the skillset to play on the wing and fits the mold of a modern-day position-less forward. Nylah really came on strong towards the second half of the season. She can score in the post and attack the basket. She has good touch from mid-range. Her remarkable consistency as a scorer and rebounder proved to be the X-factor for Eagle Rock. She anchored the defense as a rim protector and low-post defender. Nylah's mobility, handle, strength, and shot-making are all huge difference makers. Mismatch nightmare at the high school level.

Jaylee transferred from Caruthers to national powerhouse, Etiwanda, and immediately established herself as the glue, rock, and anchor. How does she get it done? Jaylee brings intensity and toughness on both ends. She can score the ball. She attacks the glass with a sense of urgency. Jaylee takes pride in owning the paint. She is willing to do the dirty work, whatever that may be. She catches everything in the post. She is a strong finisher inside with exceptional footwork. Jaylee runs the floor and finishes through contact. Her ability to rim-run makes her extremely valuable in the transition game. Elite all-around post prospect with a growing offer sheet. [player_tooltip player_id='1255352' first='Jaylee' last='Moore'], remember the name.
