She led them in scoring... as a a sophomore! <strong>Allie</strong> began making noise in December with a flurry of double digit scoring performances (11 in total). She is hard to stop when she gets into a rhythm. Her ability to score on all 3 levels while guarding multiple positions is extremely valuable at the high school level. <strong>Allie </strong>showcased her dependability and reliability as a scorer in pivotal moments throughout the season. Sunny Hills won 19 games this year with a balanced attack. They will be one of the favorites in the Freeway League next year. After an impressive freshman season (18ppg), <strong>Darby</strong> turned it up a notch (26ppg) and is quickly becoming one of the top scorers in the nation. How does she get it done? <strong>Darby</strong> is a tough, strong finisher inside. She is virtually unstoppable going downhill. She finishes well in traffic. She has the moves (euro-steps, spin moves, etc.) and mentality of an elite slasher. <strong>Darby</strong> is also a lights-out shooter. She can come off screens and spot-up. She cuts well off-the-ball. Her playmaking ability is elite. Very few guards can score AND pass the way <strong>Darby</strong> can. She has the wingspan and instincts to generate several deflections throughout the course of a game. She applies good on-ball pressure. She reads passing lanes to perfection. She disrupts the entire flow of the opposing offense. 12 games with double-digit steals! <strong>Olivia</strong> can facilitate for others at a high level. Her season-high, 31 points, included 15 rebounds, 5 assists, and and 12 steals! She understands how to initiate contact and get to the line. She sees the floor well (2 games with 9+ assists). She plays at her own pace. You cannot speed her up with the ball in her hands. <strong>Charlotte</strong> can make an impact on and off-the-ball. When her jumpshot is falling, good luck! Opposing defenders have to account for her quick release.
