<p>The conclusion of the basketball season for small schools is upon us with the Final Four of the Class 1, 2 and 3 state tournament, which will be for the next two days at the Mizzou Arena on the campus of the University of Missouri-Columbia.</p>

<p>Outlook: Tipton is making its fourth consecutive run to the Final Four. The Cardinals won the state title in 2023 and finished second and third the past two seasons. Portageville is back in the Final Four after finishing third in Class 3 last season. Marionville is a strong young team from the SWMO area while Barstow brings its 20 wins to the state tournament.</p>

<p>Outlook: All four of these teams were in the Final Four last season. Skyline and St. Vincent met for the Class 2 state championship last year with Skyline winning. Skyline is looking for a three-peat state championship. They defeated Principia for the Class 2 title in 2024. Principia is in the Final Four for the third consecutive year after two state runners-up finishes. Lone Jack returns after finishing fourth in Class 3 last season.</p>
