Jill Dingler Leads Group of New England Standouts

Lead by guard [player_tooltip player_id='998669' first='Jill' last='Dingler'] from Darrow School, check out a group of 5 standout athletes from around New England.    Jill recently delivered a memorable performance on senior night, recording a triple-double with 17 points, 16 rebounds, and 12 assists in a big win. It marked just the second triple-double in Darrow school history and capped off a special day as she signed to play Division I basketball at Central Connecticut State University alongside current teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1280530' first='NyAsia' last='McKelvey']. Jill plays with a great deal of confidence, handling the ball up the court and attacking the basket fearlessly. Around the rim she finishes well, using her body to shield the ball from defenders. She also shows the ability to knock down shots when defenders sag off, whether from the mid-range or beyond the three-point line.     Reese is currently one of the top players in her class in the state of Connecticut and also one of the most athletic players in the region. Her mid-range jumper is extremely effective because she elevates high and releases the ball at the peak of her jump, making it very difficult to contest. Around the basket she uses her hang time well, staying in the air long enough to wait for defenders to come down before finishing the play. Reese is also confident from beyond the arc and needs very little space to get her shot off. With her combination of athleticism and scoring ability, she is a name to watch for years to come as her game projects well to the next level.     Daniella has been dominant all season as a 6-foot-4 center, which explains why 17 Division I programs have already extended scholarship offers. In a recent 45-point win against Austin Prep she finished with 13 points, 8 rebounds, 2 steals, and 4 deflections. Daniella does a great job establishing strong position in the paint, preventing opposing centers from sealing her and controlling the defensive glass. She boxes out well and consistently secures rebounds on both ends of the floor. Offensively, she is effective around the paint, scoring on post-ups near the basket and also stepping out to the free-throw line area to knock down mid-range shots, particularly against zone defenses.     Summer had a strong season for Trinity High School and will look to carry that momentum into the spring when she plays up a grade on the 2026 Hoop Group Circuit. She has a smooth shooting stroke and can knock down shots from multiple areas on the court. Summer is effective attacking downhill, often needing just one quick dribble to get all the way to the rim. She handles the ball with confidence, mixing in changes of speed that help her shake defenders and create space in the mid-range. From the three-point line she also has a quick release, allowing her to get quality looks before defenders can recover.     Julien plays with a nonstop motor and consistently brings energy to every possession. She hustles after loose balls and is especially active on the offensive glass, where she looks to create second-chance opportunities for her team. Around the basket she shows a soft touch and converts layups at a high rate when she gets opportunities. Julien also sees the floor well, keeping her eyes up to find teammates cutting to the basket and delivering passes that lead them directly into scoring opportunities. Off the ball she moves well, finding open space and making herself an available target for teammates when the offense needs another option.
