[player_tooltip player_id='1259953' first='Rileigh' last='Smith'] finished with 5 points and 2 rebounds in Booker T. Washington's semifinal win over Gateway. While the stat line was modest, her speed and defensive presence stood out throughout the game. She knocked down a nice corner jumper, drew 5 fouls on the opposing guards, played over 22 minutes, and was in sync with her teammates on the floor. The most impressive part of her game - she ran stride-for-stride with some of the fastest guards in the building. Her ability to defend in space and keep up in transition made her impact larger than the box score suggests.

Aniya Gooden continued her strong play on the big stage, finishing with 10 points, 5 steals, 3 assists, and 2 rebounds in Blanche Ely's semifinal victory over St. Petersburg. The sophomore has made major contributions throughout this year, including a standout performance at the Tampa Bay Christmas tournament. Gooden has continued that momentum deep into the postseason. Gooden is a three-level scorer and very instinctive on the court. In the State Semifinal game, her defensive instincts and ability to create turnovers helped fuel Blanche Ely's transition offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1231572' first='Sha'niya' last='Cooper'] provided one of the top performances for St. Petersburg, recording 9 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Her bounce and defensive activity stood out, particularly around the rim. Offensively, she is still developing, but her length, athleticism, and motor suggest significant upside as she continues to expand her skill set. Defensively, she did a good job of competing in the paint, deflecting passes, and challenging shots on the inside. She showed quickness and was able to defend. on the perimeter as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1786096' first='Kaelynn' last='Brown'] drew attention throughout the tournament with her physical interior play. In the semifinal against Blountstown, she produced 8 points and 7 rebounds, helping Williston control the paint during key stretches. Brown also has the versatility to step outside and knock down perimeter shots, making her a forward who can stretch the floor while still battling inside.

Locklin played an important role in Jay's championship run. She finished with 8 points and 6 rebounds in the Rural semifinal and showed the ability to affect the game defensively with a strong interior presence. Her size and defensive instincts allow her to impact the game even when she isn't scoring. As she continues to combine her rebounding, rim protection, and scoring, Locklin could develop into a dominant interior player.

[player_tooltip player_id='248376' first='Arianna' last='Robinson']'s quickness at the point guard position stood out once again during the finals. While her speed and playmaking ability are nothing new, she was relied upon even more for steadiness and leadership due to Kory Edge's injury. Robinson handled that responsibility well, controlling the tempo and making smart decisions with the ball in her hands. Her experience on the state stage showed, as she confidently ran the offense and even mixed in a few no-look passes. Having played on this stage for several years, Robinson's poise and court awareness continue to make her a dependable floor general when the stakes are highest.
