The Spring has arrived, and it's time for us to update the prospect rankings in all four graduating classes currently enrolled in high school. For the Class of 2026, it means this is the last time they will be ranked throughout their careers, and the overall list (rankings & watch list included) has expanded from 275 total prospects to 300 total prospects. With that said, below is an introduction to those Seniors who were added in Friday's update who play one of the wing or forward positions.

Jayla has been a steady performer throughout her career, but she had a fantastic Senior season for West Washington. She is a long, fairly athletic forward who is comfortable around the perimeter, but she does a lot of work in the mid-post and around the paint as well. For the year, she averaged 17.7 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 3.5 steals per game. She is also a multisport kid who excels in most of what she does, plus she is high-academic as well. She will reportedly attend college and not play a sport.

Jada is one of two Lady Knights in this article. I've mentioned before that they have one of the best "programs" in the state from the standpoint of every kid learning their system at such a young age. Because of this, they are able to replace graduates each year somewhat effortlessly. Jada has come up in the system, but she also has some talents of her own. She has nice length, she's a fairly fluid athlete, and she plays with a nice motor. She is also a capable shooter, having shot 36% from 3-point range this year.

I mentioned Brooke's twin, Emily, in the guard newcomer article the other day. Brooke has a little more height, she's a bit more physical, and she is more of a mid-post forward who can step outside or post down low as well. She plays somewhat efficiently and does a little of everything to help her team. She can make the mid-range jumper, attack the basket, find open teammates, pursue rebounds, and she's a versatile, effortful defender. I have not seen any sort of commitment by them, but they can definitely help a small college.

Despite her listed height, Jaiden plays like she's at least 6-feet tall. She has averaged a double-double for two years now, with her Senior season being a 14.4-point, 14.1-rebound performer. She has quite the motor, a nose for the ball, and the ability to find ways to score over/around taller players. If she wants to play at the next level, and there are some small colleges in need, I would give her a hard look, because she will battle inside and could be a nice "culture" type of kid who affects winning.

Autumn saw Varsity action from the outset of her career, and she has consistently been a contributor for the Lady Vikings. She has a solid to strong frame, broad shoulders, nice length, and an outstanding motor. She is a physical presence who likes to seek contact at both ends of the floor. She is most comfortable offensively around the block, but she has improved her mid-post game as well. Defensively, she fights for her spot, roots opponents out of the lane, and takes on all challengers.

Grace is a talented volleyball player who is committed to Franklin College. But that didn't stop her from playing her Senior season of basketball, and she stepped up, averaging 9.7 points, 10.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.6 blocked shots per game...not too bad for a "volleyball player". She has some length, some strength, and she's a really nice athlete in all directions. While the Lady Warriors had a couple of other scoring options as well, Grace found her niche on defense, helping them to a Semi-State appearance.

Like her high school teammate above, Ashley found her role in the Lady Knight rotation the last couple of seasons. She is extremely long, fluidly athletic, and she is also a capable perimeter shooter when she is able to find any rhythm. I think she has the potential to really help a small college in some capacity next season, because she works hard and plays with a lot of versatility, especially defensively. She can sit down and defend bigger guards, wings, and even use her length against undersized forwards.

After not playing last season, Addi returned as a Senior and was a key part of a 22-2 Lady Hornet squad. After making a total of 9 3-pointers in her Freshman & Sophomore seasons combined, she knocked down 25 this season at a rate of 51%. That added weapon kept defenses honest and offered her higher scoring teammates easier driving lanes. Additionally, Addi averaged 10.1 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. She is extremely long and somewhat bouncy, and I think she can really help a small college if she chooses to play hoops.

Christian Academy has a pair of underclassmen guards who are extremely fun to watch. But make no mistake about it, Addison is one of their most important players, because she holds down the interior at both ends of the floor. She is a strong, powerful, physical front-liner who likes to seek contact and push opponents around. She has soft hands and some touch to 15-feet, but she is best utilizing her attitude and physical nature around the block. She could be a solid small college contributor.
