The high school season if officially in the books in what proved to be one of the most memorable, unpredictable seasons in CA history. After a short break, many athletes will now carry that momentum forward to grassroots basketball. Expect these sophomore standouts to make plenty of noise over the next four months.

Camaurya will be suiting up for the [program_tooltip program_id='713886' first='Cal' last='Stars'] in what looks to be a promising summer for the emerging two-way prospect. Clovis West High School had a great run this year, finishing the season at 30-4. Camaurya showed flashes of a high upside on both ends of the floor. She impacts winning in a number of ways. The lefty stroke looks pure. Good mechanics and a quick release. The motor stands out as well. Camaurya has the length and athleticism to guard the opposing team's top perimeter player. She routinely forces turnovers that result in fastbreak opportunities for her team. Camaurya is a willing passer with good speed in the open floor. The all-around potential is off-the-charts!

The 1st Team All-Coastal Canyon League selection was a step ahead of her opponent all season long. Aubrey displayed excellent decision making for a sophomore PG. She is lightning quick with the ball in her hands. She gets downhill north-to-south with little wasted motion. Aubrey plays with a low center of gravity. Quick 1st step, good burst, and a nice feel for the game. She puts pressure on the opposing defense as a scorer and facilitator. Aubrey is gritty, tough, and fearless. She can go coast-to-coast in a hurry. Aubrey is also a knockdown shooter who can can score on all 3 levels. Virtually no weaknesses and a lot to like!

Naomi is becoming a household name right before our eyes. The dynamic guard has the type of game that is must-see TV for AAU basketball. You can expect ankle breakers, elite shot-making, and jaw-dropping dimes. Certified gym rat with excellent stamina. Very few guards will be able to contain her quickness, handle, and explosiveness. Naomi flourishes in transition. She can break defenders down in the half court. The standout sophomore has the IQ and all-around game of a seasoned vet. She will pick your pocket and go the other way. She can score consistently on all 3 levels in dominating fashion. There is absolutely no reason why Naomi can't replicate her elite high school season (33ppg) no matter who the competition is in front of her.

The sharpshooting shifty lefty is an elite isolation scorer. Cherri will provide plenty of firepower for Why Not Premier. She plays with a chip on her shoulder. Very few guards will be able to stay in front of her. Cherri finishes well in traffic. She can spot-up or shoot off-the-dribble. Cherri plays with a rare level of confidence. Legit floor general who can run the offense to perfection. She played well in pivotal moments against top-tier comp for Sierra Canyon. This resulted in a Southern Section Championship in the extremely competitive Open Division. Cherri is arguably the most skilled guard in the state for the 2028 class.

Siena is an elite 2-way wing with size, skill, and IQ. She will thrive in the up-and-down atmosphere of the EYBL. Her impact off-the-ball is special. Elite cutter who can space the floor from behind the arc. When she takes her time and gets her feet set, she is virtually automatic if left open. Siena has ideal length and covers ground fairly quickly in the full-court press. She understands how to cut off the passing lane. Her 3&D ability is a gamechanger. She doesn't need the ball much to make her presence known on the offensive end. Siena will be one of the main headlines at EYBL Session 1 in Phoenix, AZ next month.
