Who's Got Next - The Next Freshman Potential Standouts

With high school coming to an end, we look at who will be on the next line of players we will be hearing about. There is a lot of height and talent already. The extra piece that could push Snow Canyon toward a finals run next season may very well be Scoti. Already playing well beyond her years, she has established herself as one of the premier young talents on the roster. Her ability to create space off the dribble opens the door for her offensive game, allowing her to step outside the paint and knock down shots with confidence.   Scoti's motor and competitiveness make her a constant presence on the floor, and opposing teams will quickly learn that slowing her down has to be part of the game plan—even as a freshman.     At 6'2" as an eighth grader, she's already showing the kind of versatility that makes her stand out. While many players of her size are locked into the center position, she doesn't limit her game to the paint. She can control the boards with strength and physicality, but also has the ability to step out and stretch the floor to the three-point line.   Her combination of size, athleticism, and skill set gives her the tools to impact the game in multiple ways. With continued development, she projects as a player who could become a major force in whichever high school program she ultimately chooses to attend, and one who could be a contender in her classification for years to come.     Standing 6'5" as an eighth grader, Aaliyah already possesses the kind of size that immediately changes the dynamic on the floor. With plans to play at Richfield High School, she has the potential to become a dominant presence in both her program and across her classification.   Her height alone gives her a natural advantage in the paint on both ends of the floor, whether it's protecting the rim, controlling rebounds, or finishing around the basket. As she continues to develop her skills and gain experience at the high school level, her size and upside could quickly put her on the radar for college programs early in her career.     As a combo guard with the ability to both score and handle the ball, Tyanna controls the tempo of the game with confidence and composure. She runs the offense at a strong pace, keeping teammates involved while still being a threat to score when the opportunity presents itself.   This summer, she'll be running with Prospects, where her skill set should translate immediately against high-level competition. With her ability to manage the floor and create offense, she's poised to make an impact even before she officially steps onto the high school court.     Another long, athletic player running with Lady Prospects, Leila adds to a roster that already brings plenty of size and presence to the floor. Her length alone makes her a disruptive defender and a valuable piece in controlling space on both ends of the court. A Utah County product, Leila brings the kind of size that programs are always looking to add.
