Young Super Stars from Fairmont

This is going to be a special team if these young players stick together and keep working on their games.    Without a shadow of a doubt this kid is the real deal. She will jump in the rankings and deservingly so. Unfortunately, she and her teammates came up short in the championship game, but they kept it close the entire game. She proved she is one of the top 2028s in the state on the biggest stage!     This kid is "a diamond in the rough". She can score, pass, and defend at a high level. She shoots the ball at very high percentages all over the court including beyond the arc and at the free throw line. She also is one of her team leaders in assist and steals with four per game. She definitely left it all on the court in the state championship game.     Kimiyah is a beast on the boards. She is an athletic forward that fights for every rebound. She is good in the high post area and very dominant in the paint. She shoots well over fifty percent from the field. Smith is also a dominant shot blocker.      A spark off the bench for Fairmont is another freshman that is making a name for herself. McLean can score well in the open court and has good speed pushing the ball up the floor. She can also shoot it well from beyond the arc that makes her hard to guard. She did not shy away from anything in the state playoff games.     Another athletic guard that can make plays for this Fairmont team. She is also a freshman that stepped up and made big plays for her team. Amiyah helped keep the game close on the scoreboard as she knocked down several big shots. She also has good speed that caused the other team problems.
