One Last run: Seniors Shine in Final Game (II)

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>NCHSAA is hosting the state championships this week with eight teams being crowned on the big stage.  The four day event has certainly brought a spotlight to many players across the state, but these seniors were not going to be finishing their careers without a spectacular performance.  Let's take a look at some of the standout seniors from this week.</p> <!-- defending the basket handling the ball well using her speed and change of direction moves to get by her opponents.  She showed her range knocking down her shot from the top of the key.  She had a tough take to the basket silencing her opponents' fans banking it off the glass and turning right around to deflect the pass in transition stifling her opponents' plans.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> off her ball handling pushing the tempo the other direction getting to the rim or finding her open teammates.  She showed her tough defense getting the ball deflecting passes and grabbing steals.  She on the block defending the basket blocking shots and grabbing steals.  She runs the floor well being ready for the pass in transition, and she doesn't back down from contact at the rim.  She sees the from the jump tucking the ball in and scoring as she attacked the paint.  She sees the floor so well threading the needle with her passes finding open teammates up the court.  She strips the ball away from her opponents and does what it takes to get the possession back for her team.  She hit a deep shot showing her range when it comes to scoring.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- scoring for her team attacking the basket for two.  She was going up high for rebounds making sure her team had the chance to extend their time with the ball.  She hustled back on defense being ready
