On the final day of a long weekend of games, these players still had something left in the tank and had strong performances at Live at the Nook! in Manheim, PA.

Maeve Murphy - Lady Runnin Rebels

Maeve is a high energy competitor. She is vocal on both ends of the court. She anticipates very well defensively. Maeve hits and holds on her box outs and gets after rebounds. She is regularly in good defensive position and she is not afraid to step and and try to draw a charge. On dribble drive, Maeve did an excellent job kicking to open shooters. With the ball on the perimerter, she routinely found teammates cutting to the basket against Loudon Lynx.

Mallory Martin - Lady Runnin Rebels

Mallory is a smooth shooting lefty. Against Loudon Lynx she pulled up from the arc with confidence and rhythm and was ready to shoot on the catch before the close outs could get home. She guarded on the perimeter with active hands and good feet.

Sarah Koller - Lady Runnin Rebels

Sarah is an in-your-face on the ball defender. She has good feet, gets her hands in passing lanes and does not retreat against opposing guards. At both ends of the court against Loudon Lynx, she forced opponents to play at her pace and was confident in her ability to dictate tempo.

Alexa Schwam - Dapa Academy

Alexa is a physical defender. She is vocal at both ends and communicates very well with her teammates. She was always well positioned in help side and ready to switch against CT Lightning Melious. She gets on the floor after loose balls and does not back down from physical play. With Group 3 Champion Moorestown HS graduating 3 of their top 5 scorers, Alexa should be primed to make a big impact as a junior.

[player_tooltip player_id='1781221' first='Emma' last='Bailey'] - Dapa Academy

Emma was willing to body people all over the defensive end of the court against CT Lightning Melious. She always sprints from one end of the court to the other. She showed a solid mid-range jumper. She used her hands to get steals and deflections on defense and always had her head up in transition looking to advance the ball. When shots went up on the offensive end she would fight for rebounds. Emma got some limited varsity run as a freshman for one of the top teams in NJ at Paul VI and will look to make more of an impact as a sophomore.

Josie Emore - Dapa Academy HGSL

Josie is listed as Class of 2032 and the potential here is unlimited. Already 6'0", she is a long presence in the middle on defense and routinely alters shots inside. She ate up rebounds at both ends of the court against CT Lightning Melious and got putbacks up quickly on the offensive end. She did a good job stepping out of the high post and quickly reverse the ball. When she did get angles, Josie got downhill hard to the rim on short dribble drives.

[player_tooltip player_id='913920' first='Casey' last='Miranda'] - CJ Hawks

Casey plays with great energy. She is very long and uses that length to disrupt shots at the rim without fouling. She smothered balls on the defensive glass against Foothills Flash and, when she gets a defensive board, her speed and athleticism allows her to put it on the deck and initiate transition opportunities. She can take it to the rim if she has a lane, but can also drive and kick to open shooters. When given space on the perimteter, she showed the ability to shoot the open jumper. On the bench, she was always engaged and locked in on the game. As a sophomore she led Red Bank Regional HS in rebounds and blocks. She was also 6th on the team in scoring and will all 5 of the top scorers ahead of her graduating, Casey should have a great opportunity to lead the charge for Red Bank Regional as a junior.

Mia plays fast but also controls tempo at the guard position. She does not force anything on the offensive end. Against Nassau Pride Hoops, she showed good skills as a facilitator and the ability to score at all three levels. She attacked the rim and finished comfortably with both hands, showed a nice floater in the lane and knocked down open 3's with confidence when given space. She also showed a strong pull up in the mid-range when she got defenders on their heels. Mia showed good vision with the ball in traffic and communicated well on the defensive end.

Raegan has exceptional length and plays the game with great fluidity. She gets to the rim and finishes over defenders. She is able to rebound over opponents and get put backs inside. Defensively she has good footwork to stay in front of the ball and uses the aforementioned lenght to be active in the passing lanes to create steals and layups. All these skills were repeatedly on display against Western PA Bruins Rise Black.

[player_tooltip player_id='835920' first='Julia' last='Marigliano'] - NJ Scholars
