The PGH MI College Tour continued with its second stop at Wayne State, where a full day of action inside the fieldhouse kept the circuit moving forward. With multiple courts in use, the setting once again gave players a strong platform to compete and showcase their skills. I was positioned at Courts 1 and 2 throughout the day, getting a close look at the 16U and 17U groups as they took the floor.

Throughout the tournament, several players made a clear impact with their ability to influence the game on both ends. Guards and wings consistently broke down defenders off the dribble, pushed tempo, and made smart reads to create for teammates or finish plays themselves. From drive-and-kick action to timely pull-ups and transition opportunities, these difference makers affected the flow of games with their decision-making and production. With college coaches in attendance, prospects competed with purpose, showing they can produce and make winning plays.

Peyton, a guard for the Goonies, was one of the players who made an impact at MI College Tour II at Wayne State. She stretched the floor with her ability to knock down shots from beyond the arc and kept the defense honest with her perimeter scoring. Peyton also attacked the lane with purpose, finishing through contact and showing toughness around the rim, including a strong tuck-and-finish move in traffic. On the defensive end, she added value as well, coming up with multiple blocks and making plays that contributed on both sides of the ball.

Avery, a wing for [program_tooltip program_id='1198268' first='Ladies' last='F1RST'], was another player who made an impact at MI College Tour II at Wayne State. She continues to show growth each time out, and this performance was no different. Avery attacked with confidence, blowing past her defender and getting to two feet for a strong finish through contact and the and-one. Defensively, she played with good instincts, reading passing lanes for deflections and coming up with a couple steals. Her steady improvement and ability to affect the game on both ends stood out throughout the day.

Katelyn, a guard for [program_tooltip program_id='932068' first='Michigan' last='Prospects'], was another player who made an impact at MI College Tour II at Wayne State. She shot the ball at a high level, consistently connecting from beyond the arc and providing a strong scoring presence. Katelyn also showed her ability to get downhill, using a quick first step to beat her defender and finish at the rim. She put together a strong sequence with back-to-back stretch layups, highlighting her ability to convert in transition and in space. Her combination of shooting and attacking made her a tough cover throughout the day.

Lily, a guard for Factory, was another player who made an impact at MI College Tour II at Wayne State. She played with great composure and consistently made the right reads with the ball in her hands. Lily was effective attacking the lane, finishing a strong slash at the rim and also creating for others, including a drive that drew the defense before kicking it out to an open shooter in the corner. While she typically leads the break, she showed her versatility in transition by filling the lane and finishing through contact for an and-one. Her decision-making and ability to impact the game as both a scorer and facilitator stood out throughout the day.

Maya was another player who made an impact at MI College Tour II at Wayne State with her versatility and athleticism. Capable of playing both inside and out, she consistently put pressure on the defense by getting downhill and attacking with purpose. She knocked down a long two and showed touch on a pull-up jumper, while also finishing strong at the rim off two feet. Her ability to score at multiple levels and use her athleticism to create advantages made her a tough matchup throughout the day.
