<p>The PGH MI College Tour continued with its second stop at Wayne State, where a full day of action inside the fieldhouse kept things rolling for the circuit. With games taking place across multiple courts, the event once again provided a strong setting for players to compete and showcase their abilities. I was positioned at Courts 1 and 2 throughout the day, I had a close look at the 16U and 17U groups as they took the floor.</p>

<p>The morning session featured a competitive group of guards who set the tone early with their play. From controlling the pace to creating scoring opportunities and applying pressure on the defensive end, several backcourt players made their presence felt right away. With college coaches in attendance, the intensity and focus were evident, as prospects looked to capitalize on another opportunity to stand out on the tour.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Aubrey, a guard for [program_tooltip program_id='1239258' first='HB' last='Elite'], put together another strong showing during the morning session of MI College Tour II – Wayne State, continuing to establish herself as one of the more consistent performers on the circuit. She was especially effective from beyond the arc, knocking down multiple threes at an efficient rate, including a stretch where she connected on three straight. She also showed the ability to attack off the bounce, using a sharp move to get by her defender and finish at the rim. On the defensive end, she brought toughness and energy, and added a key and-one play that helped shift momentum for her team. It was another standout performance at MI College Tour II – Wayne State.<br><br></p>

She was effective from long range, consistently knocking down perimeter shots, while also disrupting opposing ball handlers with her defensive instincts. Her quick, active hands led to multiple steals, helping create extra opportunities for her team.<br><br></p>

She was effective from the perimeter, knocking down shots from deep, while also showing her ability to get downhill and finish through contact at the rim. Her combination of explosiveness and scoring versatility made her a tough matchup throughout the morning.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Lila, a guard for Grind Elite, delivered a strong morning performance at MI College Tour II – Wayne State, impacting the game on both ends. Defensively, she was disruptive, jumping passing lanes and coming away with multiple steals that quickly turned into offense. She pushed the ball in transition, going coast-to-coast on several occasions, while also knocking down shots from beyond the arc. In the half court, she showed craft with a tough spin move in the lane and did a good job collapsing the defense, including a well-timed drop-off pass to her post player.</p>

She was strong on the glass for her position, consistently tracking down rebounds, and showcased her athleticism by recording blocks against bigger players. Offensively, she stretched the floor with her perimeter shooting and displayed a smooth pull-up jumper. Defensively, she was active and disruptive, coming away with multiple steals that she turned into fast-break opportunities—either pushing it end-to-end herself or setting up teammates with well-timed passes for easy scores.</p>
