She was effective from the perimeter, knocking down shots from deep, while also showing her ability to get downhill and finish through contact at the rim. Her combination of explosiveness and scoring versatility made her a tough matchup throughout the morning.

Ays’Ja is a talented guard who would be logging heavy minutes on most varsity teams in the state. She was one of the best prospects at Team Synergy practice. Ays’Ja has explosive quickness when she drives to the basket and an accurate pull-up jumper. She switches hands seamlessly, uses a variety of quick combo dribbles to create space to drive, and finishes well with either hand.

Ays’Ja is a very mature and sharp young lady with a confident, yet humble demeanor. She drove with an explosive burst past defenders and transferred the ball quickly to her left hand to score layups. Ays’Ja drained multiple mid-range jumpers with a high arc during the shooting drills. She adjusted to catch an off-target pass and converted the layup. Ays’Ja was one of the best full-speed combination dribble finishers during a drill. She blocked a shot in the paint, used a hesitation dribble to freeze a defender, and then blew by to score a contested layup. During the games, Ays’Ja put her foot down and drove baseline with a burst to score a contested layup. She penetrated gaps and got downhill in a hurry.
