Morning Post Standouts: MI College Tour II – Wayne State

The PGH MI College Tour continued with its second stop at Wayne State, where a full day of action inside the fieldhouse kept things rolling for the circuit. With games taking place across multiple courts, the event once again provided a strong setting for players to compete and showcase their abilities. I was positioned at Courts 1 and 2 throughout the day, getting a close look at the 16U and 17U groups as they took the floor.   The morning session highlighted a competitive group of post players who made their presence felt early. From controlling the paint and finishing around the rim to rebounding at a high level and protecting the basket, several frontcourt players set the tone with their physicality and effort. With college coaches in attendance, the intensity and focus were evident, as prospects looked to take advantage of the opportunity and stand out on the tour.    Madeline, a post player for Grind Elite, delivered a productive morning session at MI College Tour II – Wayne State, making her presence felt with her effort and activity on the interior. She was especially effective on the offensive glass, tracking down multiple rebounds and converting several second-chance opportunities into points. Around the rim, she showed solid footwork and touch, allowing her to finish plays in traffic and stay active around the basket. Her energy and persistence on the boards stood out throughout her time on the floor.     Colbie, a post player for [program_tooltip program_id='714458' first='Michigan' last='Cobras'], had a strong showing during the morning session of MI College Tour II – Wayne State, bringing consistent effort and physicality to the paint. She battled well on the boards at both ends, securing strong position defensively and creating extra chances with her work on the offensive glass. She turned several of those opportunities into points with second-chance finishes, and around the basket she displayed solid footwork along with a soft touch. Her presence inside was steady and impactful throughout the morning.     Gabrielle, a post player for [program_tooltip program_id='714556' first='TC' last='Elite'], put together a solid performance during the morning session of MI College Tour II – Wayne State, using her strength and positioning to make an impact inside. She did a great job establishing deep position and holding seals, creating quality looks around the basket. She showed reliable hands and polished footwork in the paint, allowing her to finish effectively in traffic. Defensively, she added to her presence with a couple of well-timed blocks, making her felt on both ends throughout the morning.     Charlei, a forward for [program_tooltip program_id='1251015' first='Shoebox' last='Elite'], showed her versatility during the morning session of MI College Tour II – Wayne State by impacting the game both inside and on the perimeter. She was able to step out and knock down outside shots, stretching the defense, while also finishing effectively around the basket. Defensively, she used her length well, coming up with blocks and disrupting plays, and showed strong hands when contesting or securing the ball. Her ability to contribute in multiple areas made her a tough matchup throughout the morning.     Sienna, a post player for [program_tooltip program_id='715432' first='Lady' last='Ballerz'], put together a solid morning at MI College Tour II – Wayne State with her effort and physical play in the paint. She consistently battled for position around the basket, holding her ground and competing on every possession. Her work on the glass stood out, as she was active on both the offensive and defensive boards, helping her team control possessions and create second-chance opportunities.
