Charlei, a forward for Shoebox Elite , showed her versatility during the morning session of MI College Tour II – Wayne State by impacting the game both inside and on the perimeter. She was able to step out and knock down outside shots, stretching the defense, while also finishing effectively around the basket. Defensively, she used her length well, coming up with blocks and disrupting plays, and showed strong hands when contesting or securing the ball. Her ability to contribute in multiple areas made her a tough matchup throughout the morning.

Charlei put herself on our radar by hitting clutch three-pointers for Fenton during the Waterford Holiday Classic last season. She’s stepped up multiple times since then in front of our scouts. Charlei was a top performer and an All-Tournament Second Team selection at our PGH Michigan State Tournament with Shoebox Elite . She showed her ability to impact games fully. Charlei battled to secure rebounds, finished around the basket, blocked shots, caused steals, dished the rock, and knocked down shots from downtown. Charlie turned in a big first game for Fenton at the Northwood Team Camp. She battled to secure an offensive rebound and scored the put-back off two feet with her left hand. Charlie can change the course of a game when she’s left open on the perimeter. She proved it again, burying two triples from the wing and another from the top of the key. Charlie knocked down her free throw after causing a foul and looks ready for a breakout sophomore season this winter.

Charlei of Shoebox Elite earned her spot on the 2nd Team All-Tournament at the PGH Michigan State Tournament with a weekend performance too impactful to overlook. The skilled guard made her presence felt on both ends of the floor—showing quick hands defensively, handling pressure with confidence, and finishing with finesse, including a crafty inside-hand layup. She had a key steal that led to a perfectly placed pass for an easy transition bucket, and she consistently crashed the boards for second-chance points. In a tight game, Charlei sealed the deal by calmly sinking clutch free throws, proving she thrives in big moments.

Charlei had an outstanding first day at the PGH Michigan State Tournament for Shoebox Elite 15U. She was aggressive on both sides of the court. Charlei secured rebounds, forced fouls to earn free throws–knocked them down, and made a clutch steal after the opponent rebounded the ball late to secure a win. She drove hard downhill to score layups and was a sharpshooter all day, draining many 3-pointers with a smooth follow-through off the hop.

Charlei is a lanky freshman wing whose red-hot shooting display nearly resulted in a victory for Fenton at the Waterford Holiday Classic. She found her favorite spot in the corner and ripped the net with a game-high four threes for the Tigers (3 in the 4th quarter). Charlei added two free throws from the charity stripe to lead the team with 14 points on the night.
