PGH Southeast Kickoff: 16U Dynamic Wing Players

I am going to focus my attention to the 16u age group that I saw play. This kid can be very impactful in many different ways. She can get downhill quickly with an explosive and strong first step. She has nice one on one moves off the bounce that normally consists of a one or two dribble pullup jumper. There are times she will take it all the way to the rim. She also has a nice stroke beyond the arc. She also helped bring the ball up the court when needed. She is a kid that is always around the ball offensively and defensively. She will get down and guard one on one keeping her opponent in front of her and out of the paint area. Layla is a guard that knows how to go get a bucket. She can put points on the board in a hurry by multiple ways. She is a good rebounder from the guard position and can add points by offensive putbacks or by defensive rebounds going coast to coast.
