The semifinals, hosted by Butler County, set the tone early, and the host school wasted no time making its presence felt. The Lady Bears came out locked in and ready to make a statement, knocking off Grayson County 43-40 in a gritty battle. Butler County's defense was relentless all night, contesting shots, forcing tough possessions, and controlling the tempo from the opening tip.

The Lady Bears secured a hard-fought 49-45 win over Edmonson County, claiming their first district championship since 2024. It was a complete team effort, but several players stepped up in a major way.

She also averaged 13.2 rebounds per game and constantly gave her team extra possessions with her work on the offensive glass. Ava's ability to control the paint on both ends and deliver in pressure moments was a huge reason Butler County finished the job.
